Both Kim Zimmer and Tom Pelphrey did a awesome job in their scenes together as Mother and Son Reva and Jonathan both of them deserves emmy awards very talented actor and actress both of them good job Kim and Tom .

God, I miss GL. I started watching around 2003 up until it ended. I thought Jonathan was a good character played by Tom Pelphrey. I remember when Jonathan and Sara got into that car accident after chasing Alan after Tammy's funeral and Reva screaming Jonathan's name at the wreck.

He’s stayed active as a character actor and in recent history, has gotten more recognition for his abilities.
One of the best episodes ever! But Reva could go toe to toe with anyone on any given day. And she shut Jonathan down like she had to, out of love, via reversed psychology. He is hurt, so he hurt Tammy and others. He loves his mom & hates her. But he's the mirror image of Reva, only in male form.

In The UK would have won an Award for Best Single Scene. Looking back I would have loved for Jonathan and Danny Santos to sit Rafe Rivera down and "Read" him Chapter & Verse. Tell them how lucky they were with having such an amazing Mother who loved him, how important it is to never assume anything without having all of the facts something Jonathan only knew too well. Know that at least you had a Father who was trying to make it up to you but you were so wrapped up in what you wanted you didn't care who got hurt in the process.

Haters. Guiding Light didnt go off the air cause of Jonathan and Tammy were together. Ratings went down after Tammy died. And The cameras on the last year. Filming through windowns and stuff we're pophetic. That is what killed the show.
This was a VERY dark storyline. He had an incestuous relationship with his cousin! Then she gets killed later on! I can't watch this. I was going to watch but it's VERY dark and depressing!
I wasn’t watching back then, but it’s annoying how they all think that Tammy was a victim in all of this. Why can’t Jonathan set them straight and say that it was consensual, or am I wrong? Was it not consensual even though she didn’t know that JB was really her cousin, Jonathan, and then after that, they as Jonathan and Tammy and it up falling in love with each other for real. The acting between Kim’s number and the guy who plays Jonathan (I don’t know his name) is really good. It makes me sad that ratings slipped and guiding light I’m on others got canceled.
She was a victim. He knew she was his cousin, and he went after her out of revenge towards Reva. It doesn’t matter that it was consensual, his intentions were nefarious.
Reva and Prince Richard had Jonathan. Then evil brother Edmund tried to kill the baby so they let Olivia’s sister & husband adopt him so he’d be hidden away and safe. But abused Jonathan his whole life.
Really disliked this period of Guiding Light. Felt like the beginning of the end, which unfortunately is what happened. The focus on Reva and a bunch of characters that didn’t feel like GL, Cassie Edmund Richard Olivia Jonathon etc, Wish they would have focused more on the Bauer’s and Spauldings like the early 90’s when the show was great.

Hey man some of the biggest stars came out of The guiding light, if you couldn't make it out of guiding light but I called The guiding light academy school of acting and go on to bigger and better roles in Hollywood then you could make it anywhere and some big stars came out of GL, in the acting world you have to get in your acting chops get in your credit, so you can qualify to move on to the big school of acting and get the big bucks, guiding light was a springboard that lunch Dominion careers to the big screen, damn straight if you couldn't make it on guiding light you couldn't make it anywhere because they have created a lot of big-time stars from just show.
Tom Pelphrey and Kim Zimmer were incredible and fantastic in their scenes together as mother and son. Jonathan and Reva.
