I loved Laura Wright's Cassie Layne and I wished she would have stayed at "Guiding Light" instead of jumping ship to "General Hospital." She was NOT irreplaceable though. I wished they would have recasted her with Cady McClain instead of Nicole Forrester.
This was my number one soap opera. I watched it with my Mom when was on for 15 minutes, watched it when it started coming on for a half hour. Then became a full-fledged fan when it came on for an hour. I watched it all the way to the end. The best actors on this soap. Classic soap time.
Jonathan was so screwed up. It wasn't his fault being abused but the stuff he pulled was out there. I never liked that he and Tammy were a couple. It was dumb and disgusting. Put a whole new spin on keeping it in the family.
It’s hard to believe that in the end Tammy and Jonathan did get married. This Edmund’s fault. If he never tried to kill Jonathan as a baby then Richard and Reva would have never gave him away.
I saw this all play out 19 years ago & couldn’t get over they were all so BLASE’ about Jonathan’s decisions. SEX is a big deal for anyone. Yes they were disturbed , but this move is punishable by hate or pain. By the end of the story there should have still been hate. Even though Tom Phelpry is phenomenal, this character decision made me want the brutal end of Jonathan. 😊
guiding light was such an awesome soap. a lot of good pairings happened. I just wish they would of brought back tammy. love jammy. great day time pairing.
There is One Thing that I Still kent wrap My Head Around why die stoel Great actrices don't have One Enemy for this storyline and Why Laura Only for general Hospital because The acting The Garden light was also very great
