Thanks for the review Danny! I love how we are all keeping each other accountable with these reviews and it’s only leading to better and better products and services.
I agree with literally everything you said in the video, I would have reviewed my own build the exact same way. Here’s some notes and responses worth sharing though:
1. This was our last month without double boxing the builds. I’m glad yours arrived Ok (although it was definitely dropped at some point during transit because of your box/foam damage) but we’ve had another issue this month and I’m done dealing with it. Toasty Bros inspired me to increase our shipping protections so starting next month we are going down the double box route.
2. This is also our last month using USPS. We are currently only using them because UPS wouldn’t ship to a return address of my PO Box. (I can’t put my home address or non-publicly facing business address on the label for privacy reasons) so we were stuck with their more expensive rates. Just last week I was able to get a street address for my PO Box though, so now I can use whatever carrier we want. That will finally dramatically decrease our shipping prices.
That’s about it though. Super fair review, and much appreciated! Will we be seeing this build sold on Jawa for $1? 🤣
Restock lol just checked u out u got very good deals just like jawa lol tbh better than toasty bros keep it up oh n restock
i like ur store page very clean
RX 560 GPU? wow... that's old.
@@iammz81 considering it's a budget build and an RX560 still retails for 200+ and can run plenty of games, it's not a bad card

Zachs prices for his PCs are actually really good I'd say
No they aren’t they suck
If only they were in stock 💀
I bought one from Zach then gave it to my son after I had the money to build my own still runs like a champ only thing I’ve had to do is replace a case fan just 1
I wanna buy a pc from Zach but they out of stock 😐
@@ranjanbiswas3233 ik that it was a misspell sorry 💀
His prices are insanely good. For his 3070 build its only 1200 like wtf? Dude is doing amazing things and he's building in those perfect ranges most are in which is really budget builds and then when you get into slightly high end territory. Most of his builds are below a 3060 but even the one 3060 build I saw the price is so good. I mean most would be perfectly happy with builds like see lol
I tried building and selling PC’s back in 2012 after building my first PC the idea crossed to sell for $100 mark up. No one ever even reached out to me, I figured the issue was living in the middle of nowhere Alaska at the time! Hahahaha!!! Oh, I tried though, I really did.
Thing is he doesn’t mark them up at all, he only sells them to pay for the videos and only sells one of each pc, the one he made a video on. Also I know I’m late to this vid but whatev
You should know that through pc part picker .... you could build a 3060 build for less
@@savlosavage yeah at this moment you can but 5 months ago you couldn't dude. My comment is 5 months old when everything was insanely high. You should think about that beforehand my dude.....
@@reviewforthetube6485 ok so I did think about that ... and the last comment was 2 months ago on this thread. Besides that you still responded ... and prices are still high .... just not as high ... anyway it's black Friday let's go spend money lol
Yeh Zach took every opportunity in his toast bros video to boost his own company but he doesn't really need to...looks like he has a great thing going...just could stand to be more humble....you on the other hand were very gracious and also very fair while not trying to pump yourself...nicely done
I think you did a fair review, Danny. I liked the video and it was very informative. Your videos about giving away PCs inspire me to help others. Thank you for your example. Keep up the good work. Blessings!
As long as the money collected was actually used for shipping and not going in the sellers pocket, it shouldn’t matter.
Doesnt matter into whose pockets it goes. As soon as it exits my pockets, it becomes an issue.
nah he is a really good guy
.he won't do anything like that

It was really cool as a regular viewer of seeing most of these actually built on Thirsty Thursdays (I think it was at least my third or fourth one) to see one of these being unboxed.
Thanks Danny. Always the good tone, always honesty. Kudos man !
I like how all of you guys fairly assess eachothers builds and take the criticism as it is intended being constructive with the intent to help each other out in the future. Honestly those prices are not bad at all it just sucks i couldnt order anything from Zach from up here in Canada eh?
been tracking this one =)
and i love you all , ufd , zach's tt , NOBt and the bros. keep putting up the material =)
love the t shirt
i like how this guy said he was gonna review the toasty bros PC and that ZTT took his idea, so he just reviewed ZTT
Really good prices and excellent pc build great job Zach
great video...this is my first time on your channel...that build with a ryzen and a discrete gpu (that's not a gt710) for that cost blows me away! I'd love to see you do some benchmarking!
Love the purple theme.... looks very nice. Only thing I would add is to put the Windows license key in the text file even though it is a digital license. I just like being extra detailed.
Fair review. I appreciate the points you made. Thanks for the video!
Good prices. I'd pay $400 for that first one and put in a entry level or mid range graphics card for $250-350 dollars and make it a dope 1080p machine.
$350? wtf?? that's way cheaper than if you were to buy the parts and build it yourself.
how is this possible? I don't think i could find a deal this good even on craigslist.
pc looks amazing too (lighting and custom power cables)
A good point regarding deliverer when it comes to customers having choices. I only keep it to ups or FedEx when receiving packages in my neighborhood. The reason is because USPS has lost packages including neighbors. We've reported the issues to USPS but for some reason, with that service, in our neighborhood, packages keep coming up mia. It would be a make or break situation for me. Very rare situation but ya, choice is huge.
report it to DC about the all the packages going missing they will refur you to your local post master but now your complaint is in the main database and they will check up on it quickly been there done that the post lady was fired for theft and stealing wages as she would open the post office late and close early and take 2 hr lunches
It's so much fun building it yourself I couldn't buy a pre built for the fact I like picking out everything an putting it together myself
Great Job. Nice to see some of these guys called out. My soon to be old PC has a ASUS 450-F MOBO, Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 580 8G. It still runs decent at 1080P and a little above. He should have offered this build because it is still relevant. Well know to be a great combo at the time I built it. You could have got the upgrade for 1/2 the stupid shipping cost.😲
I just love this community!
Your honesty is refreshing
Ah you beat me to the punch! I wanted to buy a ZTT “$400 Build”!
yup would love more options on shipping for sure
Nice, Danny! Keepin it real.
Taking aside the expensive shipping, it looks pretty impressive imo
3200G with GPU seems a sub-optimal combination - short of PCI-E lanes for a start. I guess this is a fairly balanced GPU to put with it if there's a 3200G to be used up though!
I have used Pirateship for all of my sales. Love them.
Far better than TB's. I honestly dont know how you are able to sell so cheap, even if he got the parts highly discounted, (note: he did not use garbage parts), he is not making much. Danny, you should have mentioned the overall quality of the parts used. This PC is a really good dealregardless of the shipping price!
That's because he's not selling these on any large scale. He's a flipper, he finds good deals on parts, I believe even used parts and sells them for a profit. His youtube platform allows him to sell on the internet fast. ToastyBros are trying to run a bigger operation kind of separate from their youtube channel. (I've been watching toastybros for a while and didn't even know they sold PCs). It's just 2 different operations.
I found out the hard way about using cable extensions in that case. If you wanna get colored cables, you pretty much have to use custom cables for your PSU
Gained a sub man… i like your style homie!!
I bought the white and red gaming pc! Glad you didn’t before I got it!
I always wonder about the customer support and warranty aspect. How can a customer get service if something breaks? I know a used part wont have support, but maybe a fan stops working on the case. Then what? Assume you don't have a spare.
Good price on that system, just that insane shipping cost, unfortunately puts it up against $500 builds with free shipping which might have better specs
Wasn't a fan of his self promotion on the Toasty Bros PC, but his builds are super good value, and i think i share his ethos as a small/solo indep gaming PC seller myself
As a courier, though looking for a new job right now, we do not care nor have time for fragile boxes. The warehouse typically is the one who damaged the box or the initially shipping to the warehouse, their load out before arriving to our station. We have 15-20 minutes to load so it gets ignored, tossed, shoved, and forced into wherever it can fit. I personally try to pay attention and be careful but majority of the other 50 drivers at my station do not care nor have time to care. I have personally tossed boxes through the air a good 3-4 fives feet into the van due to time constraints. When I try to be nice, the station manager gets on me and will start loading with me. We are not allowed to care, lol.
The shipping argument is understandable, although, you need to understand how shopify works. Shopify syncs the usps calculator to calculate shipping unless he maskes custom shipping rates for every PC. That fee might've been because usps isn't offering cheaper solutions to customers, happens in our websitenwith some items.
He may yse pirateship, but Shopify doesn't sync pirateship, it ships the freights official calculator.
Shipping cost was crazy. I mailed my computer from Toronto to Vancouver for $50 Canadian including insurance.
Being open to and constructively responsive to criticism is how we can get better. Nice!
Do you have a link for your little monitor, kinda interesting!

dont get me wrong @@zippy4566 . i love nerd on a budget. but the way he goes about his information makes it feel like a 4 episode drama .
I just build using exact same case and the cable management is tight, the velcro already almost full by all the cable from front panel, fan (pwm+splitter+rgb+rgb splitter), i can't strap the 24 pin flat cable because the velcro is too short, even without any component the cable already clean on top but messy on the bottom
Zach really doing PC gods work out here
Zach skipps on bigger CPU coolers and just goes with stock, and puts the money on special cables.
I would ignore all the bling and focus on performance, you can add bling after you have more money.
To be fair stock coolers are good especially from AMD
He put in dominator RAM, that is corsair top end RAM. That is a huge quality upgrade for a budget pc. That pc would only need a gpu upgrade down the road.
I think your criticisms are pretty fair. I had never heard of pirate ship, so thanks. I do ship PC's once and a while and costing near $130 each time is not great. And I agree with what Zach said in his video. They were valid criticisms as well. But I do agree that, weather it was his intention or not, it wasn't a good look to then bring up the fact that he sells PC and you should check out his store. I get why Zach doesn't offer a warranty. Not only would one person get overwhelmed with dealing with customer service, it's really hard to actually service the system. It could mean spending a lot of money to ship the system back to you, figuring out what's wrong, and shipping it back at another cost. Things that are easier to absorb for a large company like Dell or HP, and as someone who's worked doing phone tech support early on, trying to help people over the phone with a hardware fault is tricky at best. This is why I mostly sell locally. Easy enough for me to drive over to their house and fix the problem the same day.
What's your favorite place to sell, Craig's List, Facebook Marketplace or other?
@@davidg2731 Don't really have a fav. Craig's List is definitely a wasteland in my area. I don't even bother with it anymore. I have mixed luck with FB Marketplace, Offerup and a local classified. Lately, everything I've been selling has been on the classifieds.
It would look nice if the camera was placed on a try pod less shakey and less headache for some of us. :)
ive got that cpu but no graphics card :( ive been saving for a while and hopefully can build one soon
Best man of the century thx a lot bro
I never care about the rear cable management on my own builds lol. Close the door and boot up.
Nerd on a budget mentions that the shipping on Zach's build was nearly one third of the system. But I am here to mention that nearly 1/3 into the video and all ive heard so far was the shipping rate. So in other words only 2/3 of the video is actually what i want to watch. As a consumer i dont give 2 s**** what other people pay in shipping costs.
I'm able to sell my builds cheap like he does because we're both constantly deal hunting and buying parts when they're on a great sale. That's where profit comes from.
It is a 32.8% GPU bottleneck in graphic intensive applications. So you do have some headroom on the CPU for an upgrade in the future.
How do y’all get them I can never buy one
I worked for a company, we used to make anywhere from 15-30% on shipping markups. It is shady to do this!!!
Any idea when his store will be restocked
How are the prices so low for the PC's?
I love the toasty bros content
underrated tech ytber af
I ship PCs alot for my company and they are about $20 to ship in bulk
I love how nobody noticed that the RAM inside isn‘t actually Corsair Vengeance RGB. The RAM in the system is the Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB. Or am I wrong?
Did anyone notice that the SSD model mentioned in the text file on the desktop is a different model than the ones mentioned elsewhere?
The ram too
3000 mt/s? Instead of cable extensions i prefer better ram if i slam there like 5600x i don't have to care about ram...but what about latency of that ram kits?
As a shipping manager, that price point on shipping is MORE than fair... Shipping prices are GROTESQUE now adays.
I bought the Ryzen 3 4100 6600XT and I’m in Minnesota so it was only $850
His builds are genuinely pretty good so I wouldn't mind how much he points to his site if he actually had inventory 😂
Fair assessment. $100 is a lot for shipping.
Thanks Danny, nice vid. Please just next time pop into bios to check XMP is setup properly. That is important as loads of people never go into bios. PC is good, I don't mind the slight mess at the back: I often prefer that to cables that is stressed due to overzealous cable management. Nobody checks in there in any case, as long as the front is sweet, all good. That shipping does hurt though:(
I did check xmp through HwInfo, surprisingly the RAM was running at 3200 speed instead of the advertised 3000 in the listing! I cut that part from the video to reduce the length since it was already getting long (and the footage I got for it was pretty shaky), but looks like I should have kept that part in!!

His 3070 build is actually insane for $1250
Former UPS worker here. People who handle packages with the fragile stickers on them tend to treat them more harshly as a joke. At best they ignore them and treat the package as if the sticker wasnt on there at all. Not only that, but the packages go through an automated conveyer belt where they get turned over on the wrong side without any human input anyways. I honestly wouldnt waste money on buying those.
Hey Danny, my first thought is he may be trying to recapture a bit of profit in an escalated shipping cost. That said, if he is using USPS over other shippers and paying those actual prices, then that's not good business practice in my opinion, it will turn off buyers. I do not think he should have shipped it single boxed,. Fragile stickers do not offer better handling, especially that they are processed through conveyor machinery along with carrier personnel handling.
Wow Danny, I needed Dramamine when you are doing handheld camera views. LOL Anyway, I think you went a bit easy on Zack who could have taken some cues from the Toasty Bros on how to Professionally pack a system. To be honest and with all due respect, he rubs me as a bit of a narcissist. I really think his critique of the TB build was unfair when he himself could have better practices. Offering excuses on his included sheet is never a good practice in of itself not to mention his cheesy packing job, and so on. I'm sorry, but that's just lazy of him.
Damn corsair dominator ram, that's on the more expensive side

for the pricing not bad actually. but some parts are kinda questionable. kinda overpriced shipping for no real reason(yes read his reason) and with no benefit to the buyer. still looks dropkicked and like a foot went through the side of the box. ok for the 2day but if i can get lower shipping i would happy wait a few more days. also questionable that gives criticism about the psu choice of toastybros but proceeds to also use an bad psu(yes those masterwatts don't have a great reputation of reliable)
