You are correct! The purpose for using a double edge, single edge razor is to avoid tugging and pulling of the hair. You should do 2-3 passes. Gradual beard reduction rather than ripping the hair out the follicle is far healthier to the skin! Plus, cartridge razors grab the hair, cut it so it falls below the skin surface. People with tight curly hair growth will develop razor bumps and skin irritation due to hair below the surface growing sideways instead straight out the follicle. Switch to a DE razor, single edge razor or even a straight razor. All of those will improve your shave and save you hundreds in blade replacements!!
@@AmiralGeneralAladeen honestly my young black brother, I use magic shave and been using it for well over 25 years but I sometimes do a very light touch up shave with a 5 blade razor but I exfoliate with a good exfoliating cleanser to remove old dead skin and to lift up the hair before using a razor but overall I stick with magic shave 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽and to be honest I noticed that your face looked baby smooth before you stated shaving in the video, so why are you shaving?
