I’ve never played that game but I did unlock his Warrior within costume. That’s how my character (Sargon) looks like in game for me.

Went to go pick it up today for switch. GameStop only had one more left after I brought mines and that was pre-order. Walmart was sold out for switch and so was another GameStop. One target had it but they didn't put it out lmao.

Do you understand how bad ass it feels to slowly walk up to a boss as its charging and just rock their shit?
I kept failing on one of the boss fights and it pissed me off lol, so I changed the difficulty in-game, I don’t have the patience to keep repeating till I finally master a part of the game as I did during my teen years, other than that, the exploration and game overall is fantastic, when I saw this revealed last year I, like many, thought this game would tank, but in all honesty I’m glad I was wrong, as a long time PoP fan playing all the PS2/3/4 era games up until now, I’m glad we finally have another Ubisoft classic.
Which Boss? I think I’m near the end of the game and there’s two bosses that pissed me off. There’s some parts of the map that I had to break from because they were so tricky to pass because one touch of the spikes kills you and you have to start over.
the snake is annoying untill you figure out you can catch the orbs

Kiana is probably the best fight in the game. Menolias is also sick, but I don’t appreciate not being a super sayan for the whole fight like he was. OROD can kick rocks. Easily the worst boss fight of the game. And vahram is just…that’s a dbz fight and you don’t have enough powers and you’re just trying to whittle him for an hour with out dying first. Haven’t done Darius or any of the dlc yet.
I love Prince of Persia so much and I’m glad the franchise is back again specially with a great game
This game is honestly how difficulty should be done. No spikes, just trial and error. It has been so frustrating but so exhilarating at the same time learning how to play, I love it!

@@meelamiela it has an ass load of accessibility sliders as well. I would love to play through Elden ring like that. So if you’re feeling froggy you can go for hard mode or if you’re just trying to get some item hunting done you can use the portals to skip through parkour sections when backtracking. My only complaint is the boss design changing so drastically. By the end of the game it feels like you’re in a DBZ episode.

Just played the demo, wow. Could use a bit of polishing with the parry window but If youre a fan of the soulsbourne & metroidvania genre this is a must cop
You can adjust the parry window in custom difficulty.
After a horribile decline from the last years, its good to see ubisoft release a good game.
I really like the original 1989 game and its sequel but I couldn’t really get into the Ubisoft games but Lost Crown is a return to its roots and I am all for it
I love this game. The screenshot-map icon feature will become a major standard feature in metroidvanias in the future. It is a very smart feature.

I hope they support it for a long while and give us a crap ton of DLC/Sequels , it carries Hollow knight levels of joy except it's not yet bug free. The idea of soulslike/metroidvania while having a protagonist that is actually known for action/adventure/horror games is really something the gaming scene was missing for a long time. It has everything, mechanical intensity, variety of difficulty levels, fast pace, amazing character designing, storytelling, nostalgic feeling all that while being not graphically demanding as well.

@@bxile730 the Ubisoft launcher on pc. Also it’s a side scroller and more of a double A title and people felt it should be cheaper not almost the price of triple A titles. I really appreciate the game but the only people making side scrollers and selling them for 60 bucks are Nintendo. I say that as someone I that has played Metroid for years and is very familiar with that style of game, but to the masses and pc players those are two major contributing factors to poor sales. People have openly admitted to buying the switch copy and then emulating on pc so they didn’t have to deal with that launcher.
@@Venomx-nb1jr its not $60. Its $40. Absolutely not overpriced. If it was $60, i would agree. I cant soeak for pc as i own it on ps5 and it was a smooth process. Maybe that launcher did affect oc sales but orher than that its a gem of a title and absolutely worth the $40

I’m about halfway through the game, 40ish% completion, and it is a stunner. Hard as nails? Even on Normal, I’ve found the bosses to be pretty competent. Took a good 5 tries to beat the Forest Queen, for example. Nice balance. Hollow Knight is probably tougher but not by too much. Definitely grab the game on sale.
Masterpiece. As the game went on and I found new powers I believe it became easier though. The toughest two bosses were about halfway through and the fourth and third to last I defeated the first try. Five tries on second to last and three or four tries on the final boss.
Beat this game yesterday. Such an engaging and action packed game. 9/10 for me

"IS back to its roots" .... without a prince. This is a great game of course, but for me, I consider it as a great Spin-off. The real Prince of Persia game gives you the Prince as the badass hero who saves all, not the opposite.

It’s a good game but I laughed out loud when you said tricky “but rewarding” puzzles. Mannn there were some that had me stumped and I FINALLY get it and it’s some absolutely useless amulet or one that got me pissed was “more vision memories available”….you can remove old memories you don’t even need more! 😂

I’m near the end I think and it’s a good game. It’s much longer than I expected as I’ve put in 32 hours so far. There’s some levels that are so tricky to pass as you have to use multiple powers and abilities and time it just right. Never really felt this game exceeded my skills that would make me quit like other games with stupid hard level designs.
This game is torture-ing hard. The parry timing is key but maybe reconfigure your controller.
