- In this video I’ll take you through the journey of creating a mini indoor pond, & showing you how it evolves over 90 days. The pond is a low tech setup with no filter, co2 & very few water changes. An ecosystem like this one is a perfect way to bring a slice of nature inside & it’s ideal for beginners due to its simplicity. Enjoy the video:)

Have you tried to use dried spagnum moss instead of tissues? I've discovered that fixes very fast, it's easy and looks more natural
I haven’t but that seems like a great idea, will certainly give it a go:)
A minor correction to the dimensions in inches - the tank is about 4" deep rather than 10". Beautiful scape!
Very good video, I really like it. I'm also making videos about ants and ecosystems like that! Please support me
I am blown away by every new build you make. I thought this would be your best, but that reveal at the end changed everything! Both are so stunning!
Thank you! Excited to release it😃
Plz do a room tour video 😊
Aw, it must be such a great feeling to see those shrimp thriving so much under your care! ❤
It really is!😃
Love how natural it looks! Never thought of putting multiple species of floating plants in one setup, but it looks great!
I really like how it looks:) would be interesting to experiment with even more species🤔
Love the details in the wood
This is so satisfying to see day 0-90. Loved it! It looks great! ❤
I love how you make these small or big, lands for animals needing a better home, because they were just in a box or in the forest that has trash. ( some do ) And you give them a better home! 🏡 ❤🦎
If anyone wants a bigger shallow tank I’d recommend WIO I have a 60x35x22 and a 60x30x16 both great tanks
That is so beautiful and serene
Beautiful build❤ cheers from SmallScaleTales
Thank you!
I've been watching you for around a year now😂😂😂
I think you should show us how to build a mini Pond for goldfish !!!😊😊😊
Wow that is amazing I love that mini tank and and love those shrimp and their babies . Thank u for sharing
Glad you enjoyed the video:)

Absolutely lovely work mate, a joy to watch as always!
Thank you!
best design I've seen so far!
Just found this channel, love it! looking forward to going through your back catalogue of builds.
Welcome!😃
Beautiful! You are such a huge inspiration. 😊
Thank you, really appreciated it!
You should add a small scubadiver in the water, put some branches in too
Absolutely stunning!!
Thanks mate!
What a fantastic build! You have a lot of talent! 🔥
Thank you!
It’s really nice ❤❤
woah bro your fishtank looks IMMACULATE
Great build. Thank you for the great video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Love your work

I loved the aquarium and seeing the baby shrimp 🦐🦐 I live in New Zealand and time is 5 am
I found you coincidentally and I only can say, it looks amazing!
Such talent and skill. 🥰🥰
Thank you!
i have a scape very similar to what you just built. so i obviously love it lol
Nothing beats a nice terrarium designs video ❤️ also first time I saw a shrimp poop 8:32 lmao
Haha good find!😅
Thanks bro❤❤
Love it
Awesome!!
Great vid
I think that's a heaven for the fish😊😊😊
Love the scape. I was with you up until you added the duckweed.... so pretty, but such a nuance 😆
Love it. I would really like one like this for shrimp. I’m tempted to try…
You should definitely try. It’s super low maintenance:)
awesome
Beautiful planted setup
Glad to see those tiny babies 👶 💕
I Rate it a 10/10
Here is a piece of pizza 🍕 for you for creating such a beautiful scape
Nice ❤
Amazing! You earned a sub!
Thanks! Welcome😃
Superb build. Very clean and perfect combo of plants. How do you refill water once the setup is completely established without disturbing it?
This is lovely, I love how it all comes together! 😄
One question: what sort of lighting did you have this in? A particular direction facing window, or artificial lighting, or?
Wow it is so brilliant, so nice work
How often and how you change the water?!
Wow🎉
Nice vid! What lighting solutions do you recommend for terrariums?
I'm blown away at every one of your videos! I did something very similar but unfortunately my shrimps did not survive and I'm unsure why. Do you use tap water for your water changes?
This is an awesome build! Do you usually buy plants & shrimp online or from a shop?
Cool how we got to see the baby shrimps, go from little eggs. To baby shrimps.
It really is!😃
@@TerrariumDesigns facts!
Great setup! What do you feed the shrimp? Or do they feed off the algae and plants? (Sorry for the amateur question) lol.
Awesome mine pond, I’d live to make one but don’t think I’m talented enough…do you change the H20 or world you put an airator in there??
How do you take care of it? I’ve always wanted a pound but can’t have one at my house I do have a fish tank, but it’s really not the same I absolutely love this and plan on making this
Love the vid! Where do you get your plants the projects?
Usually from aquarium stores online. Riverwood aquarium & aquarium gardens are some good places in the uk:)
Ive been looking into getting some cherry shrimp for myself, and I'm just curious how do they do without a pump for water flow? Ive been seeing that as a good thing to have but maybe it depends on the tank size as well?
Fantastic work and the shrimp look so nice and comfortable there! How often do you find you need to top up the water in the pond and does it not stagnate in a no-filter environment? Would springtails make sense in a setup like this or there's not enough dry land for them / no way to keep them inside the setup? Thank you!
I had the same thought with springtails, I think is there’s just not enough dry land & they would easily find their way out. I’ve been topping up ever 3-5 days & 20% water change every 3-4 weeks. No issues with stagnation yet & I think that’s due to the plants. Hope this was helpful:)
very nice! Can the stones be glued with any kind of superglue?
Karya yang sangat indah saudaraku..
Hello can you explain how to maintenance and what you feed the shrim and maybe how many you feed the shrimp /day
I hope you answer this comment thankyou 😊
I'm guessing you did the 2.5 gal? Or which one did you end up picking? Looks like a set-up I'll need to try!
what did you use for lighting for the plants?
I've been watching your videos for a minute and have just been given a 20 gallon tank. I was wondering if you had any advice or recommendations of any type of vivarium with live creatures that isn't just some type of fish tank. Thank you kindly and I love your videos. I'd also appreciate it if anyone from this community could contribute some advice, it'd be greatly appreciated :)
Hello brother 1st comment.... And you're so awesome ❤
Appreciate the support 💚
Please make more indoor ponds! Maybe a turtle one?
That would be cool!
Are you using a light source? Great build btw!
how do you control the growth of these plants? surely you must remove some in order to keep them from overgrowing?
as a total newbie when it comes to shrimps in general, but what do they eat in that ecosystem? do you need to add any type of food for them?
Fantastic build! How would you recommend someone starting out getting some plants?
Thanks! For the aquatic plants, fish shops usually offer a good selection. Plants like Fittonia & asparagus ferns are often sold in garden centres. Online is a great option too:)
What do you use to light it
I notice that the other asparagus fern has one yellowing frond. Mine has died and I think it might be because they don't like too much light. You didn't, by the way, tell us anything about how you lit this setup. I'd be interested to know.
What other types of shrimp would work
Any timeframe on that giant ecosystem? Beautiful pond btw
Letting it grow in for a while but I’m hoping 4-6 weeks maybe🤔
@@TerrariumDesigns ok can’t wait!
i recently made a closed terrarium with a small pond feature, but the water in the pond keeps evaporating. is there any way to stop this?
Is it possible to add beta fosh to one of these?
Sherpa design??🤣great weejo
i have a request i have been trying to set up a triops terrarium that has some other things in it can you help me out please its been a big intrst of mine to breed and grow my own in my home
bruh you should use expanding foam
what about water change and filtration, please help n comment
The plants act as the filter. As for water charges I do about a 20% water change every 3-4 weeks
Le caridine non saltano fuori?
They stay inside:)

👇
How many gallon is your tank?
It looks to be not even 1

@@TerrariumDesigns oh wow, it looked tiny on camera😅

i love you

British Tanner Serpa
Why wouldn’t you put something like a beta fish in there? Is that possible?
They need a minimum of 5 gallons of water and a filter and a heater.
Anything less isn't suitable for them.
Can u say a bottle of water 🇬🇧
