I hope this means that Armada is going to get something too. I've been waiting for them to do a booster expansion to add more characters and options for current ships. Like adding Rae Sloane's Star Destroyer "Vigilance" (so, as a vice admiral, she has a proper ship to command), Inferno Squad as a boarding party, Iden's tie fighter, the Corvus, Palpatine, Garrick Versio, the Invincible Faith, Admiral Piett, and so on.
Are you sure the squad builder app will be out so soon? All the FFG rumours are pointing toward early/mid august - september! Do you know something we don't? ;)
It's so you're properly able to play with each combination of pilots in the set. Either two generic (same or different) or each combination of one named pilot/one generic or two named pilots.
Don't know if it is better to wait till September and enjoy X-wing 2.0 as it's intended to be, or spoil me the hell out of this video like there's no tomorrow.

I wish the T-65 in the Saw's Renegades pack had s-foils that worked so smoothly as this one did. Mine are spongy and won't stay closed.

Looks cool, I am still on the fence for upgrading as I only play casually. But the improvements in 2.0 look nice

So why double up on the Aces for the Imps on the cardboard. Couldn't they have just added some other Aces to fill? Seems like a waste.
They probably have the same generic pilot printed on the other side, but yeah, always fun with more named pilots!

I got a 1.0 box for 14$. Came with a Phantom and A-wing... which just goes to show you, luck and charisma lowers prices.
New rules, new miniatures but still the same old crappy box which is useless and too small along with the boxes for most of their games.
