    I can't believe you missed it! :-)
The X-wing model's s-foils actually open and close! ...I wanted to see that so bad.
Many players are mad about converting over because they think they need all the punchboard & cards for all 100+ models they already own. That is just nonsense- nobody flies all their ships at once, LOL! There is a big enough community for swapping and sharing when those kits hit the streets.
A great point about playing with just this 2nd Edition core set alone: the new Escalation mode let you replay many times with variety.

Hey Marco. Would love to see a review of gaslands which is a recent game that works in a similar way to X-Wing, with movement templates, but uses Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars. Very cheap to get into.

Looks fun but also like it can get expensive quickly

Marco, the best thing to do is play Blood Red Skies!

How does Dropfleet commander compare to this? I Much prefer the ship designs in DFC.

2ND edition fixes many issues with balance and meta game. It's a must have for serious players. For casual players sticking with fist edition is OK. However there will be no further new kits for first edition.
Wings of war was first, followed by xwing, then star trek attack wing which is also on a second edition, d+d attack wing was last to the party and first to leave production.

J Bottero So I'm not missing out on much If I have a couple of force awakens starter boxes and don't plan to play competitively?
