Our VRF Grab Bags (GB) videos are compiled from content from our cameras as Mods and fans spot something neat while watching our cameras. In the GB you will, of course, find a variety of TRAIN content, special trains, maintenance, steam, diesels, interesting rail cars, cool paint schemes and more. You will also find fun people, city events, boats, planes, cars (sometimes going wild) and nature. Thank you for taking the time to sit back and enjoy these highlight reels that we call "Grab Bags"! - Zábava
Secretariat is one amazing thing, we will never see another horse like em
Wow Big Daddy 52 in Ashland Loved Thanks VR❤
Thank you once again.
That parade was great--especially Santa on a firetruck!
In spite of the nay sayers. Thanks Joe Peach 🍑. I liked this one. Old Corvettes and Mustangs, old Mack Fire truck, and haha, a street sweeper ending the parade! Thank you for the full roll of the auto train. It is on my bucket list.
Nice video, lash ups and Amtrak auto rack train in Ashland with Fall foliage!🛤🚂
Happy Thanksgiving Rail Friends👋🏻
Good to see Santa in fine shape getting ready for his One day a year job😂
Great video's, love this channel. Happy Thanks giving to all.
Nice train in all stations of train, one is beautiful other more beautiful very.❤
4:00 Talk about turning back the clock!
Christmas? It’s not even thanksgiving!!! BACK IN MY DAY!!! there were thanksgiving parades in November and Christmas parades in December. Too early!
I mean, we traditionally have our Santa Claus parade in November, but that's because it's too cold in December to expect small kids to stand outside for hours. Also, our Thanksgiving is in October
Okay, I posted this before the end of the Ashland parade. What kind of low rent Christmas parade is made up of a bunch of random dudes in sports cars?!???
Thanksgiving has become nothing but a “speed bump” holiday. So sad…
I remember when you had the Dallas game and the Detroit game. Dallas kicked off Christmas. We'd eat Thanksgiving Dinner and watch football. The stations also just started to sprinkle in Christmas songs after Thanksgiving. Our Christmas parade was the first week of December. Watch kids run after the candy. Went to the Christmas parade in Galveston. Watched adults chasing after beads.
@@Ea-Nasir_Copper_CoI was in a parade that had farm tractors for Christmas. I was on a VAC Case in road gear with half throttle. Behind me was a 2470 Case.
Wow! Six NS SD40-2's being led long hood forward. You don't see that often anymore sadly. We all know it would have been better with high hoods, but I'll take this everyday over the all too common wide cabs.
Awesome grab bag and great catches as always
You never realize how busy some rail lines are. always surprises on any given train, just watch for them.
Thanks for including the parade through Ashland, really loved the spirit of all involved, including the spectators.
18:53 I like the old Mack Fire Truck in the parade at Ashland. I'll take that over all if those muscle cars before it.
That is a beautiful rendition of Big Red! Can't wait for its installation.
50th Anniversary, the GOAT
Waycross, the Refrigeration unit removed from the Maersk intermodal container - I'd have thought they would be ok with a Refrigerator stolen from out of one the open containers at Kearney. At Roanoke, BNSF 9712 SD70MAC looked very nice and clean - good to see, thank you.
13:53 I really wish Kato would make those auto racks in HO Scale so I can start building up my own Auto Train.
if you are good with model paint and have a CAD cutter (silhouette or cricut) you can make some that look like amtrak bought some off TTX as the side panels seem to be solid on Amtraks vs the perforated sides on the TTX ones but a quick look and no auto train but plenty of dome super liner offerings :(
That first clip i was able to see bc of the perfect timing lol
That first train was interesting. A still painted CNW AC4400CW with UP 1943. If someone sees KCS 4575, take note of it. It's the original 2000 NAFTA motor. I believe the back unit on the power backing up to the grain train is a SD70MAC. At the back of the unit, there's two boxes on the side of the car body. The SD60 had a box on each side of the carbody.
Excellent Video!
💮🎊🇮🇳🎊💮
Parade looked more like the start of a Gumball Rally or Cannonball Run.
Ashland knows how to do it.
0:08 epic 10-unit lash-up with both CNW 8804 and UP 1943!
1:06 the CSX SD70MAC from last time has uncoupled from its train and is now returning to it
1:57 also the Ferromex SD70ACes and ex-FWWR gensets from last time appear in this grab bag too
3:05 Chessie hopper
3:30 6-unit lash-up of all NS SD40-2s with the leader running long-hood-forward
4:32 CSX 3194 leading solo at the same location
5:04 Santa Fe hopper
5:30 refrigerator unit removed from this container. I have seen some refrigerator units have their own numbers, with a J suffix instead of a U suffix the containers have
6:34 I never knew Exxon-Mobil had 40 4-compartment tankers. They seem as big as normal tankers but tend to transport loads going to different destinations
6:46 CP red, KCS Southern Belle, and KCSM gray
7:07 Herzog well train at the end of a CN train
7:26 BC Rail heritage CN 3115 and ex-Citirail passing a stopped Lake Shore Limited
8:12 The Bay Line tall gondolas
8:42 CSX 1982 leading
9:20 Carolers at Ashland Amtrak station
10:11 containers broken into
10:24 ALC42s 348 and 349 trailing on the California Zephyr
11:50 BNSF executive MAC on an NS intermodal
13:16 Auto Train with three P40s and a Dash 8 on the front
14:57 parade in Ashland including some Corvettes and Mustangs. I also like the vintage Mack fire engine carrying Santa Claus
19:34 plenty of boxcars with open doors
This grab bag is interesting
Loved the Ashland Caroler’s even if a bit early, great voices! What was the celebration? I want to come next year! Jan in IL PS Many other great pieces to this grab bag!
I am from Ashland, it was for when they turn on the Christmas Lights on the town buildings.
SANTA!
Can we have Thanksgiving first and then Christmas. Jeez radio stations are already playing holiday music. Seems like Christmas gets earlier and earlier every year.
*Nice*
A lot of great train action in this VR Grab Bag today and that is how I really
