How to build the CHEAPEST Overland Truck Bed Camper Shell sleeping platform!

Welcome to my latest project, a 2006 Toyota Tundra TRD Offroad 4x4! We're going overland camping this weekend for Thanksgiving, and I needed a way to sleep in our truck bed since we don't have a tent anymore, so I figured out how to build the most simple sleeping platform possible in our camper shell. Follow along to learn how to build one of these sleeping platforms in your truck!
Materials used:
(2) 7-ply 3/4" sheets of plywood
(3) 2x6's
2" wood screws

I want to do a similar set up in my ‘03 tundra but I can’t seem to get my camper shell to keep water out! Any thoughts on waterproofing the camper shell fit?

I had the same issue and actually sold my shell a couple of weeks ago. The shells that don’t have a window from the cab side will always leak it seems
