    Over here in delhi NCR the government has done an absoluting amazing thing to solve the problem of traffic and pollution especially in monsoons. They have removed all the drains from the roads so that we also get the alternate option to swim to work instead of driving. Also all the underpasses are specially converted into Olympic grade swimming pools to promote sports in the younger generations.

      Yeah man, that's the point. India's traffic is the hardest mode in a driving test, if you can drive in it, then only you can drive on any road in the whole world, or even further. Every country should have implement that whoever is going for a world ride, then he must pass a driving test in Indian Roads. Only then he will be able to go for that ride.

    1. Bigger the car more rights you have on road.
    2. Traffic lights are used only if you see someone coming the other way.
    3. Dont stop for anything unless you want to piss.
    4. Indicators are for losers.

    6. Biggest of all.. Keep that Horn working, so everyone can you are coming.

    I am from India..and have to tell you people here drive like shit. Traffic conditions are terrible. Not because they are bad drivers (may be some) but mostly because of the attitude "me first". No one here has the patience to wait or give way not even to an ambulance. Highways are still ok, but the cities are much worse.

    I have driven up and down this road three times in my life, each journey being roughly 5 to 6 hours long ( NEVER DID IT AT NIGHT, I'M NOT CRAZY !!).
    I literally saw 6 dead bodies on the road in all those 3 drives combined. One of the accidents was so gruesome I don't really wanna describe it. Mind you I did wake my sleeping friends in the car to have a look, which they still bring up now and then while abusing me.
    These trips were Circa 2005 to 2009, when the road... if you can believe it was even worse.
    Serious Kudos to you guys for this, some of the stuff you did on this video was seriously dangerous. many people in India drive like they're literally playing a video game.
    I'm happy to report that this road in 2022 is in far far better condition, but the video game driving continues :(

      The statistics he gave was moronic. He was comparing the numbe rod vehicles of India and UK and then corellating with number of deaths. What kind of idiotic logic is that? Comparing apples to oranges.
      If you're going to compare the number of accidents, then sure compare the number of vehicles on the road in each country.
      But if you're going to compare fatality rates, compare the population and average life expectancy and not the number of cars. That is just idiotic.

    I went on a trip throughout India, and I nearly pissed myself several times while we were driving. One of our drivers actually said to me, "In India, you need 3 things: a good horn, a good brake, and good reactions."

    In the definition of a good road is that it is smooth and free from potholes and speedbumps. Proper driving etiquette from other drivers , road markings and safely lit vehicles is a luxury.

      this is way overrated ,thank god he want illed,he was doing a dangerous procedure knowingly,In india trucks & bus move on extreme right of highway,as they are moving at high speed & these big heavy vehicles are hard to stop...moving them continously to left & right disrupts the smooth traffic flow.All you have to do is go to middle lane & horn them then overtake ,this is dangerous ,if you try to pull ur vehicle between the two trucks there may be a chance the truck on left have to shift little bit right(may be due to some parked car on left),you will get crushed

    You learn to drive in India, you can drive anywhere
    Here, we can see BMWs being overtaken by a 1993 Maruti 800 with a leaky oil pan at midnight on a road filled with potholes and drunk truck drivers.
    These are actually one of the best, if it was one of the worst, I could imagine the Mini's underside turning to mangled scrap after hitting a pothole and the RR puncturing its Silencer etc etc

    You can hear in this clip other cars honking. That is actually them talking to one another.
    They communicate by using their horns to avoid one another. It isn't like the rest of the world where the horn means "FUCKING GO". This is how they can drive in such a frantic way.

    We have a well known understanding;
    if you see a Milk Lorry or a Water Lorry, stay away from it, if you get near it it's death for certain.
    The brakes on those don't work half the time. 😂

    There is one good thing about this type of driving, if you don't know where you are going, no one is going to get angry at you for being in the 'wrong lane' and holding them up. In some ways that makes it easier. Just find your exit and make your way to it.

    Can confirm the roads and drivers there are mental. I once travelled with my driver for the day and he overtook an ambulance while it had its lights flashing. I slapped him on the shoulder and said no, do not need to do this, he replied with it's ok, no problem. đŸ€Ș

    The thing is, drivers don't follow the rules in india..!! If u just turn your head out of the road while driving, You'll die..!! They maintain very less space between vehicles..!! That's why thing happens very fast...!! No Need to mention separately about unpredictable encounters of vehicles or animals from road sides...!!

    Thankfully, the situation has improved in past 9 years. Either the roads are jam packed like in cities thus your vehicle can't achieve more than 20-25kmph avg speed. Or they're empty to be forgiving enough.
