    Since you mentioned that the spring weight of the staccato XC is only 8 pounds. I installed a Range 18 compensator to my p226 and I heard that ideal spring weight is 8 Lbs to work it out with that compensator so I bought a tuning kit recoil spring from Armory craft however it only comes with 12, 16, 18, and 24 Lbs. • @108Performance
      @108Performance  Před 3 lety +1

      Other than the obvious external differences in the slide cuts and comp ports, they're the same gun and I feel that in general people have assigned to much value to the name change and cosmetic updates.

  • @fairweatherbull4908
    @fairweatherbull4908 Před 3 lety +1

    • @108Performance
      @108Performance  Před 3 lety +1

      Factory 115/124/147. It’s a 9mm and people over think the comp situation. It’s not a .38 Super running Major loads where there’s a ton of high pressure gas in a 7 port comp. A 9mm can run a single port.

    Does the XC have anything beyond the P DUO besides the comp and island sight ? Like for 2,000 extra is the only thing I get is a light trigger, and a comp? Not that is not worth 2k just asking if there is any better finishing than the P DUO version, like any hand finishing or barrel to slide match ? Highly considering either gun just deciding between the two as I’m not a super comp fan. But its a beautiful fire arm. I love the integration of the comp and full dust cover.

    • @108Performance
      @108Performance  Před 3 lety +2

      The comp is kind of a big deal in terms of manufacturing expense, as covered in the video. If you don't like the idea, then don't get one. You'll be plenty happy with the P. By the way, ALL the guns are hand finished at each manufacturing stage, and the barrels ARE matched to the slides.

Its down to these two guns that I am choosing between. I have shot the Staccato P but not the XC. The Atlas has grip panel options to custom fit your hand better, tons of options for the trigger size and shape, 2.5 or 4lbs trigger pull option, locking and no lock slide stop mags, the magwell comes in three sizes and NO damn grip safety
