Rider Adam Morse and his dog, Flow, revel in the solitude and transform the green tunnel into a private playground.

Great trail dog youve got. Remembering the days my dog used to pull my bike up the hill with me and toboggan down off leash. Shes 9 now and backpacking or longboarding is more our speed.

just don't feed the dog right before physical activity, especially big dogs are at risk of torsion of stomach!
Ever heard of editing? Could of been a couple of hours before they left.
Yeah, but it can mislead people that don't know the risks, so edit is great but could be better if the feeding scene would be after the ride.
Side note, Stomach torsion might need surgery and can be fatal

I think the same thing. not everyone knows that about feed-sport-torsion of stomach. can cost the lives of several dogs.someone sees your video and copies it without thinking about editing. unfortunately many people are not informed. your video is very nice and I for example understood that the dog's breakfast is "invented". but I also thought I hopefully does not confuse people. anyway very nice video I loved it.

Great video. I would love to know how to train your dog to do this. I think mine might but I would be afraid of her running off after critters.
Matthew Hart if your dog doesnt chase to kill i dont see the harm in letting them off lead and trying because once they realise they arent catching the animal they will give up and continue following you, as long as you and your dog have a bond and your dog loves to run you will have no issues doing this

thanks i will have to try it sometime. I think she could run it would be tough just trying to know if she will stay with me or chase something... She is hunting and it hard to get her to come off the hunt even in the back yard.

Hi, I ride with my pup, Hardy, and have done from about 6months old (him, not me) I started out slow with regular water stops on the trail and lots of praise and practice with him staying just behind me. If he overtook me I'd stop and call him back, then start off again. But nowadays I let him roam,mostly he'll want to stay with me though. But as you say, he's a dog and will chase stuff, pretty obvious answer I'm afraid but I just worked on his recall when at the beach etc, I use a whistle and cheese as a reward. He's turning 3 next Feb and is awesome, stays with me when we're out, enjoys a puppychino and banana bread when we go for a post ride Coffee and gets lots of pats and complimentary comments by other people. And best of all, I always have somebody to ride with who is as stoked as me to go!
