- How to make a Kentucky Butter Cake. Who doesn't love a sweet & moist cake? Nobody, right. This Butter cake checks all boxes. This has to be one of my favorite cakes to make. If you are in charge of dessert this Thanksgiving this butter cake recipe fits that bill.

Its great to see a father spending time with the kid, and engaging, teaching, mentoring and letting her participate. These teach competence, and confidence and a useful skill. Great to see. The cake looks fantastic, moms going to try one soon, we are in Canada so this is the first we have heard of this type of cake

This is freaking awesome! Going to go get the ingredients right now! I'm going to do something a little different, though. I'm going to use a regular cake pan with a cake mold inside of it so that I don't have the hole in the center. This way, I can make small cakes and large ones! I'm making 6" cakes for christmas presents! Can't wait to see how this turns out! Wish I could send you pics.... You and your daughter make a lovely pair of pastry chefs! Merry Christmas!!

@@AllWingsEverything I was thinking, A Tb. of a nice Liquor iin the glaze after it was cooled, would also give it that Southern touch. Like Gran Marnier or something like that.
