Benzino admitted that he purposely didn’t give em a 5 mic rating cause of their beef. He said The Eminem Show was probably gonna get a 5 mic rating but cause of their beef he made sure that didn’t happen. He also was the reason Outkast didn’t get a 5 mic rating. For those that don’t know about the whole Ruff Ryders situation: Benzino’s group the “made men” got into a fight with the Ruff Ryders and one of his guys got cut up. Eventually Benzino got on a track with Jadakiss who was signed to the Ruff Ryders. Em is saying he is a joke who isn’t willing to stand up for one of his own. He has no rep or loyalty.

I'll say this though- if the Source would have given him 5 mics for Marshall Mathers LP (originally a 4, bumped to a 4.5 after Em sold almost 2 million copies the first week), or given him 5 mics for The Eminem Show- I doubt he responds even when Benzino drops his freestyle diss. Afterall, Em was busy with dissing other artists during this time.
