    Lot's of good tips in here, really makes you realize that you need to be deliberate as soon as the game starts!
    I'll share a tip for my fellow Tahm Kench players. Tahm is very good at pressuring from bushes because of the threat from his W. If they can't see you start the channel then you're going to land it a lot more of the time, so for this reason you'll want to have sweeper almost always into lanes where the bushes are uncontested.
    As an advanced tip, eventually your opponents might start realizing your pattern if you always just walk into a bush and W off cooldown, so try to mix it up and be unpredictable. Personally I like to stand at the edge of a bush that I know the enemy has no vision of and click back and forth into and out of it right before I go for an all-in commit with W. This conditions them to ignore it when you walk into the bush and I've had a lot of success using this. If they are still respecting your W range too much then they're basically behind their caster minions at that point which is a really good angle to fish for Q poke. Hope this helps someone! :D

    Very useful video! Just like the previous self-reviewing video, it helps a lot. There's a lot you can do before the waves meet and it's not always so obvious since there's so many possible matchup patterns. Thanks!

      Definitely. Actively thinking about the game from minute 1 is very useful

    Very nice idea for the series. I think those smallerish pieces gonna help to directly implement them into ones own gameplay step by step. Keep up the good work mate.

    Love this! Thanks ❤I am very new to trinket swapping but 100% understand it way better now, and most importantly, when to do it, and why :)

    I'm very new to support (less that 200 matches, only playing in draft at the moment) and main Heimerdinger. I'm really finding your content helpful, especially with learning how to optimise early game play and learning how to manage in soloqueue without a friend playing ADC. It's so useful to have you break down when to do things and match ups etc, rather than saying "it's good to ward here" since there's a lot of variables to consider.

      I'm happy to hear you find my content useful. Relying on yourself is a much healthier habit for your league of legends journey than a competent ADC.

    Will this series have everything you need to do in game or just things you haven't covered before? Or in other words, do I need to watch your other videos, like the fundamentals series as well or will it be covered too?

      Everything in game, I want this series at the end to be comprehensive by itself :)

    Oh looks like you come back and answer questions, that great! So my Obvious question is trinket changes for early game. The whole idea of taking trinket, warding, and then swapping to Oracle is a bit different now. You don't get sweep for lv 1 usually, or its very late to use. I'm curious is you still use this strategy, and if you do, has it changed in any way? my first instinct is you take the L on early vision for that early prio on bush. But is that worth it to you to lose the potential spotting you could get on enemy jungle. Diamond player here, playing mostly tanks and Mages. so only feels relevant for my tank games to answer this question.

      It's a lot more situational now, but very rarely will I ward midbush and go sweeper. It's generally either starting sweeper (to have both charges available in early lane to pressure from fog), or ward somewhere to spot enemy jg and swap to sweeper, or start trinket and save it for warding for a gank. All dependent on bot and jungle champs, unfortunately no neat and tidy categorizations for this one.
      For you on engagers, a good rule of thumb would be to start sweeper.

    For the support mains, is there a situation where you would buy the Blue Trinket? I played this game for a long time but I haven't seen anyone buying Blue Trinket on support either in coaching videos or in-game(I have about 500 games in each ranked season).

    • @CoachCupcake
      @CoachCupcake  Před rokem +2

      Nope. Need sweeper mid-late game for vision denial.

    I found this really useful, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do while playing mages. I'm a velkoz otp and I'm not exactly sure if I always need bush control or not. I don't think I need it because I've found i can play upper quadrant pretty well, but im not sure if I screw my adc by doing that

    • @CoachCupcake
      @CoachCupcake  Před rokem

      This is hard to answer in just one comment. Achieving and maintaining bush control on mages is hard, but you can definitely be botside and throw spells + drop aggro via the bushes. Hitting minions will go a long way to giving you space to do so. I recommend checking out my War of Attrition video if you haven't.

    • @thomassilber7044
      @thomassilber7044 Před rokem

      @@CoachCupcake I watched your War of Attrition video when it came out! It was extremely useful for me to get an idea of how to play a mage. Just watched it again and definitely learned some more stuff that I want to try applying in my own gameplay
      I guess I'm having a harder time connecting the attrition and trinket concepts. I guess I haven't ever thought of them together and I don't think I'm smart enough to analyze all that yet.
      I guess my main question is what I should be doing trinket-wise at the start of the game. I used to ward mid brush and recall for sweeper into lanes that would cheese just so I would be able to see if they are cheesing, but I found that not having a ward kind of hurt me for level 3 gank (and even past that since I wouldn't have wards until my support item upgraded). I also tried doing the method you mentioned with starting sweeper and just taking control of the brush instantly with no leash. I felt the was really nice due to being able to start strong with poke. I also see value in getting a raptors ward early to know where jg is going. They all seem like pretty good strategies and I'm finding it hard to differentiate when I should do them, even after watching this video
      Sorry for the long question, I really appreciate you taking the time to read this though!
