Great show guys and Rocco you do a great job with the detail and work that you put into the players that you're talking about...

Absolutely guys. Lane is 8th in NCAA Div 1 scoring and he's only played 16 games. If you watched any matches, he dominates the puck like no other. He is a treat to watch. He takes a lot of chances but I don't mind, he can learn the defencive game, offence is something you are born with.

Crazy, I never thought we would've forgotten who got traded to bring Dach here; Romanov was already regular D, hitting like a brick wall, loved by the fans...
Just hope we keep Hutson, Guhle & Xhekaj as young left D

Shayne tu as tellement raison quand tu parles de la reaction imbecile de certains fans des flyers . encore une fois un excellent show.

I believe the addition of 2 goal producing attackers and the return of Dach and Newhook will transform Habs’ offense, next year. IMHO they will be the surprise of the year.

it has been widely reported the nashville trade was contingent on a center being at 5, smith or the swede,

The habs may also pick another D if they land 5 or 6 pick overall, top 6 D in this draft are all high end, better then all but 2 forwards

I agree Chris, this is a good draft coming up for defensemen compared to the 2023 draft...However, Hughes will surely get killed by the fans if he drafts another defenseman especially after the Michkov/Reinbacher mess. Furthermore, Montreal does not has any serious offensive "big body" forward prospects in their pipeline; but the problem I see, is that the best forward available where Montreal will possibly draft might still be a "small" forward (Helenius or Catton) which Montreal does not really needs unless they can put their hands on Cayden Lindstrom, a big forward, if he is still available, but I doubt it. Montreal usually drafts based on pressing needs, if they do, then it will be a forward. Regardless of what I just said, Montreal could still trade the pick to get more assets... !!!

@@powers1500 I don't think he cares what fans think, he literally said at his last 2 pressers he is still in the acquiring assets phase this year, meaning trades and picks, then he will start trading D men to fix the roster. He knows how unbalanced they are

Not the same and Lindross. He asked not to be drafted. Cutter "wanted" to be a flyer then he didnt.

@@Erik-ms3du below average defensively but was used in every important situation defensively to win gold and actually has decent defensive numbers in the NCAA 😂😂😂 and he’s was also never going to be an amazing Two way defender which is why they drafted Reinbacher to play along side him, His edges are very good he is explosive in the offensive zone you literally can’t take the puck off of him he leaves everyone dancing on ice like Elsa… he has also played against NHL players in the WC and his defensive numbers in that tournament were good as well along with producing good offence… Every scout that knows way more about hockey then me and you have said this kid is going to be a star at the NHL level.

@@tylerlussier1896 the world juniors is almost meaningless, he looked bad for the majority of that tournament anyways so not a good supporting argument. He's on a good team in the ncaa so his "good defensive" numbers don't mean much to me, no they didn't draft reinbacher to play beside him, they drafted reinbacher because they believed he was the best player available for them.

@@Erik-ms3du he also impressed everyone when he was in development camp with Montreal he looked perfectly fine and his back skating has gotten better than when he was drafted… Also the areas he’s not strong at like he is strong offensively are very easy to fix once he gets to the NHL level and works with NHL level coaches and development coaches all these minor issues will be fixed I’m will to 100% guarantee Lane Hutson will be a very solid NHL OFD at the very least I am 95% sure he will be a star player his attitude is top notch his compete level is top notch his drive to win is top notch this kid is going to do everything he needs to do to hit his potential almost like how Slaf is doing now because they are hard workers… Not taking that into consideration is lazy on your part and using very minor issues as “strong evidence” to say a player won’t hit his potential is a weak argument… His defensive numbers are not horrible they are actually not bad at all even if he has trouble back skating lmao he still defends well and when he fixes those issues he’s going to get better and better.

When is Hutson conversation in the video? I'm past 30 minutes in, and except a very short mention of him after Gauthier talk, 0 word about the kid.
The episode titles are often misleading; should write not what you know will attract Habs fans, but being honest with us & use titles representing the longest talked topic. Well, another kid is now the topic, just had a 10 seconds stretch related to the prospect of the month so bug off wasted again 30-40 minutes watching a video without having heard about the title's topic. Really misleading.

Voyons...you start talking bout Hutson 6 minutes before the video ends?? Ca...sse guys...
