- I headed out to the creek last week to sift the gravel bars for arrowheads. I managed to find a bunch of clay beads along with old pottery and I think they could be from the Native Americans. The next day I went metal detecting at 3 old abandoned houses and had pretty good success. I hope yall enjoy the video! Sorry for the long delay from posting. I dug an awesome Flintlock pistol barrel, I have no idea how old or from what pistol, Maybe someone can tell me?. I also found a beautiful King George II copper and lots of snakes! Thanks for Watching!, I will have more video coming next week, Have a good weekend and God Bless!

About Nugget Noggin:
Hey! I'm Michael, I love to get outdoors and discover awesome things
with my metal detector. I started treasure hunting when I was 12 years
old and shortly after received my first metal detector. Since then, I've
been hooked and just love going out to search for the unknown. You
may see me in the woods crawling under an old house or diving down
in the river to search for rings. Wherever the adventure brings us, I'll try
my best to keep you entertained.

If anything, I think a lot of people can be thankful for your enthusiasm.
Real breath of fresh air and I think a lot of people need it.
This stuff makes you happy and outright giddy. It's fun to watch all around and lightening on the soul and mind.
***** Even when it isn't such a great find, he's still happy he found something. "Sunny" is the best description of him, I think.
***** Completely agree. I found myself in a bad place these last few weeks and finding this channel pulled me right out of it. Great kid.
***** Well, it's because he's a Christian we find out now. :-)
alwcurlz I always suspected he was a Christian. Gods light shines strong in him. ☺️
It's nice to see today's youth doing something good. My son and I enjoy your videos, he's 10 I am really glad these are the things he is enjoying watching. Thanks
Thanks for posting your videos! My daughter and I really enjoy your enthusiasm and joy for all that you find. Your videos have made us want to get into detecting for fun and in our homeschooling! Thank you for such positive and fun glimpses into your life.
I like the way you narrate. It's like we are there with you short of a dialog.
Glad you posted again. Good video. Looks like that house site will bring more finds. Guess you will eventually get under the porch when the snakes go to bed this winter. Keep'em coming. :)
What a great place to just go check out... wow, I can imagine there would be so much stuff under both those houses. There were times when the log cabins were used as the skeleton for a larger more modern place. Great hunt, loved the arrowheads and OMGoodness what great finds with the beads!!! Thanks for sharing your trip.
Great Videos! I always love watching them! Keep the Awesome work up!
Hey I'm only 13 years old and I admire your videos! This kind of stuff always intrigues me!
If the whole world is full of children like you, the world will be the heaven on earth. You only wanted to show the wonders you find,Be careful, don't touch those snakes.
Another " Top-Gun" Video by NN............ NN#1!😎👍👏👌✌️👋🇨🇦
That mustbe agreat feeling when you find something that old.. King George Penny.. WOW!
Always enjoy the videos man. Thinking about someone dropping that colonial coin so long ago is amazing!
Looking at the mystery greenish object you found... it reminds me of the top cover of a compass? It looks to have that hinged cover look. Great video as usual!
9:42 Awesome finding that flint lock barrel! That's what you call history digging! 10:30 pretty sure that's a chisel. Broken though. Made with a brittle iron it looked like.
Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your dredging adventure GL & HH
Thanks to your videos I've started detecting. A harmonica reed and a old pocket knife and I'm hooked.
I love all of your videos! You have the best metal detecting videos on youtube; thank you for not changing who you are just to be a hit!
my 7 yo loves your videos and has us all out looking for treasures.
Hope you continue this kind of stuff throughout your life. You definitely have a knack for it and are knowledgeable especially for your age. Maybe make a career out of it in anthropology as long as it doesn't take the love for it outta ya.
At the start, when you reached down to pick up the lump of iron or whatever, I thought you were going to pick up what looked to me like an arrowhead.Just slightly below and to the left from that lump.Congrats on the King George II coin and the pistol barrel!
It's great to see you with a new video, young brother. Keep up the entertaining content NuggetNoggin!!
Great too see you back great hunt that barrel was to cool of a find cant wait till the next video
Never had the oppurtunity of metal detecting before so I just ordered an Ace 250 to start out with and already thinking about the AT Pro to do some water hunting, though the wife isnt thrilled with either idea, thanks Nugget Noggin for getting me hooked on this hobby haha......time to go back to the dog house.
Ben B lol nor was my wife...lol
It’s just the opposite for me. My husband doesn’t mind my hobby, but he isn’t interested in going with me.
Great to see you've found a new spot, Nugget! Hopefully we get to some new videos of you hunting it out.
Thanks for the videos, I always look forward to seeing them!
Can't wait to see you go back to that creek with the dredger.
Ohh, can not wait to see what else that field produces if you found a King George copper there :)
HH&GL
The snake on that rock in the creek was basking lol
Hello from the UK. If you are researching the barrel, Henry Nock was another London gunsmith from the flintlock period and may be worth checking. Great videos by the way.
When I dig, I only show the good stuff I find. No one ever sees all that trash I find. Good going nugget.
Cenla Searcher.
The flintlock barrel is British, made by London gunsmith William Ketland 1730-1831.
my first reaction when you found that george. " My god the history isnt finished with that coin" lol
That barrel is awesome! Congrats!
looking forward to seeing you dredge that creek on the drop off....and really nice find on the King George
Nice finds...keep em comin'!
HOW DO U FIND ALL THIS STUFF???? Man u'd be an excellent pirate.
Hahaha thanks! I work really hard to find it. It Takes research, patience and digging a lot of holes with trash in them.
Hah! XD I can't believe u find some of these tho. World War 2 guns, flintlock pistols, very old coins, buttons from the 1800s and 2 freakin cannonballs!!! 0:
Super Cool, Greetings from Switzerland, can you do more house sites? It's really cool or you could visit a GHOSTOWN! and go hunting, great videos keep it up! :)
Thanks for the awesome video!
Thanks for another fun video!
Wow ,really neat!
Nice video Michael, looking forward to the next! HH from Denmark
Hey nugget great video man . You directly inspired me to start detecting. I live in a place called Halifax it's old and its history is laden with pirates and native Canadian inhabitants, also one of the biggest treasure mysteries in the world... Oak Island! Look it up if you get time between hunts . Thanks for the inspiration nugget I hope to share my finds with you soon , good luck bud and happy hunting
Awesome Hunt!! Amazing Copper!!
I have also found similar things to what you were calling beads from what i was told they are pipe stems and the bowl broke off.
They do look like pipe stems. If any are metal, they may be decorative artifacts. Some tribes used thin metal rolled into a cone as decorative pieces to attach to their clothing.
hey +nuggetnogin that arrowhead you thought they were working on is actually a Indian shaver they used it for like deer hide
So much stuff there, very cool. I can go for hours in the woods here in germany and dont get a single signal. Wish we had as much historic stuff here as you have !
Great finds, last two days I found an 1846 large cent and appears to be a 1786 large head Connecticut Copper it is great to find the old coins good luck HH
Awesome video nugget!:D Been waiting for this for ages!:P Thanks :D
Awesome finds. .Congrats. Great video
Love to see these North Carolina finds. Awesome video.
I was wondering what state this was.
Nice Find on that Pistol & King George...
Really nice video... Your one of the best at what you do keep up the good work
Cool finds ,keep it up
If those beads are metal, they might be tin tinklers. Native americans wore them and they would make a noise kind of like change in your pocket when they clinked together.
great finds thumbs up
love your videos Nugget. i've been wanting to get into metal detecting for awhile but just haven't gotten there but after watching your videos for a few months now i've started saving for a couple of AT PROS (they not cheap over here lol) i told my 14 year old about it when she got home the other day and she laughed at me and said "mum your not old enough to do that your atleast 40 years away for that" she reckons metal detectings for 70 year old retired people. not sure where she came up with that but i think she needs to sit down and watch some NuggetNoggin videos and see just how much fun you have no matter what you find.
Great video 👍 a lot of snakes scary 😨
great finds! Happy Diggin!
Again a verry good video with great finds!
ceep do It!
I love you video's
looks like you had a great hunt
I thought that snake was your metal detector at first.
Copperheads love water and can swim just as well as a water snakes.
Nice finds!!
Hi
That is the back off a post medieval English padlock and quite rare. I am from the UK I found a complete one made out of brass or bronze' the loop is usually iron so rots away. Good video as always. GL/HH
nuggetnoggin I love your videos u inspire me so much keep making videos I enjoy them alot(more like I'm like doing a montage of all your videos cause I love them )
The " beads" could possibly be clay pipe stems, all over the place in the UK, Great video as usual ,
Hey nuggetnog I really
Love watching your videos and you give me
The inspiration to metal detect and gold pan and dredge and I metal
Detect all the time

GOOD FINDS .. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS ... #MICHIGANDIGGERS
The beads looked like native American money because i heard they used beads as money also i love your videos there so fun and entertaining
Greetings from Finland! Great video again!
Nice! Haven't seen any videos from you in a while, man! Keep up the good work. We absolutely love watching you on all your digging adventures. I wish you could come out here and check out the areas in CLE. I work in some really old buildings and have access to the basements and old elevator pits. gotta be something down in an old elevator shaft. people loose things all the time while walking in and out of elevators. could be some good coins. who knows?
those "beads" like things most likely are fossil of Belemnoids tails.
In my country we call them "devil fingers".
Those things are at least 100 million years old or so
Commonly found by the rivers and in gravel quarries
Canny hunt. Awsome gun barrel. glhh dave
hat a great old house. Looks like it has another 20 years and those plants are going to pull it down. Amazing old copper.
Those " clay beads " look like THE stem of a clay pipe , so maybe?
Great video agian GL&HH
Cool vid man, I was wondering when you were going to put another one up.
man oh man you had some great spins. - let us know what you find out about the barrel and copper. - good luck - where is abby?
I have been watching you videos for a bit now and I have to say I admire your drive. You come up with some very cool sites and that can not be easy as you have to get permissions and the such. Here in Alberta Canada it is not as plentiful for anything really old but we still mage to find some interesting stuff but man your finds blow us away lol. BTW I have wanted to tell you, all those bits and pieces of pottery, glass, and ceramics you find, you should bundle it up on ebay or something for people who make mosaics as I am sure lots would love to have such great pieces in their work as hey would be very unique and the history of them would just add to the work. Just a thought anyway lol. Keep up the great videos.
Under 301 and great video !!
Wow... I`m guessing that you are really smart.
=You're pretty good at identifying junk that would just be random junk to me.
=Ug I hate snakes.
=It's amazing how many places you find to metal detect. For me it's just public parks, the beach (overfished). I have no idea how you'd get on other historical locations unless they're abandoned.
Hi the flintlock barrel I think is a 15 mm w.ketland & co pistol and around early 19th century and described as a ships pistol do have pics of a complete pistol great video
hey nugget i made a sither just like that to day looks just like that lol nice vid
It's cool how you find all these arow heads. I haven't been out lately, i need to get started again haha. I have like 75 cents this year hahaha
I want to metal detect too!
Maybe old copper tubing from a still or homestead site.
nice gun barrel and good luck dredging later hope you get a ton of gold
NN- your find at 9:20 is the back to a brass pad lock I have one just like it I found on a CS camp except mine has both sides and the iron insides
Some nice finds though glad we do not have black snakes in the UK !
Hi Nugget,
You cut your hair!!! Looks good. Hope all is well with you and Abby.
