About Nugget Noggin:
Hey! I'm Michael, I love to get outdoors and discover awesome things
with my metal detector. I started treasure hunting when I was 12 years
old and shortly after received my first metal detector. Since then, I've
been hooked and just love going out to search for the unknown. You
may see me in the woods crawling under an old house or diving down
in the river to search for rings. Wherever the adventure brings us, I'll try
my best to keep you entertained.

I have to say that I love the old compact cases. Things like that to a woman were very dear and treasured. I also love the square nail and Axe head. The 1700's button! Heck, I just loved it all! Human existence! Thank you Nugget!!!!
Michael, thank you so much for the digging info. I'm still learning & getting quite discouraged. I'm hunting a 100+ year old house, that the metal roof is mostly gone & the farmer has shredded. It's a bear to hunt & I've found nothing but junk, so far. I've been told I need to "clean it out" before I find the good stuff that should be about 7" down. You seem to find the good stuff just 2" down. Good for you.
Nuggetnoggin needs to be on the Discovery Channel i am surprised they haven't picked him up yet....
That AT Pro is one sweet silver pounder! It is always a great day with one in your hand! Congrats on your finds! Girlie girl needs her own channel!
Hi Nugget and Abby, glad to see you braving the snow and having fun doing it.
Keep the passion alive
Nice finds. I cleaned out the flower beds today and laid down new mulch. Before I threw down the new mulch I got the detector out. Nothing much, but I did find an old Lexor make up compact from the 30's.
Keep the videos coming, your videos is one of the few things both my wife and I can agree to watch...lol...
What a variety of finds! Keep the good videos coming. Thank you, Nugget.
That crush bottle is super cool. Keep hunting. I'll keep watching.
Can't wait for you to find something really great. Really enjoy your videos.
Hey nugget thank you for great videos and quality digs. You don't see to many young diggers here on CZcams. I am 15 and I dig and make videos and you were my first person I subbed. Keep up the great work GL and HH
Thank you! That's great you dig and make videos, Hope you have a great year detecting, don't give up!
For a 15 year old that has a metal detecting channel and 945 subscribers must be fun having a channel.
I like the way you wear that hat boy. That duck bill you got goin on is sick!
Abby is such a sweetheart. I enjoy seeing her in your videos but I'm sorry you have to deal with the idiots and their comments. I have never metal detected in my life but I love your videos. I've seen every one of them and always look forward to the next one. Please keep on with them. Keep your coil to the soil and happy hunting!
Yowzaification Thanks you! The rude comments don't bother me, but I will delete them if I see them. That's awesome you have watched all my videos. I will have another video up soon, Thanks for watching them.

Great hunt as always. Beautiful old Orange Crush bottle
I love your enthusiasm! I am from California and never heard of cheerwine. So I looked it up and ordered some. Keep on posting. Thanks for sharing!
Always enjoy your videos Nugget. Thanks.
At 14:03 , the cylinder shaped object right up next to the buckle you picked does look a lot like an old lamp holder, it resembles a lot to those of dial panel lights from old radios, could also be from a car or other moving device (like a train wagon), since that kind of lamp socket was better for uses where they were subject of vibration, over the old Edison screw, where vibrations could cause the lightbulb to come loose.
Awesome video can't wait for the next one
Nice hunt....I enjoyed watching....thanks for posting this...Take care....Frank
Awesome video an great bottle find, keep up the good work or finds. thanks for sharing.
Def. Enjoyed it nugget thanks for your hard efforts to put out vids as consistently ad you do. You are 1 of the 1st subs of mine a few yrs back and have watched almost everyone of your vids. Thanks for sharing and preserving history with us. Sincerely,Paul
Funny how some of the best finds metal detecting are sometimes neither Ferrous or Non-ferrous! Congrats no the awesome bottles - will look great on display!

Keep them coming buddy. We really enjoy them. Wish I could find sites like this one. Good find! Ps.. I would give a dollar a piece for the cobalt blue bottles.
Mike, I always enjoy watching your videos, hope to see you in a few weeks in Virginia, be sire to bring that positive attitude!
Some decent finds NN. I like the Garrett MDs I've got one as well. We don't get many of the old relics out west. So it's sure fun to see others digging up the oldies
You have an very cool site. I love your treasure hunting adventures. Just ignore the eight lunkheads that gave you a thumbs down. Abby`s quite a dish too. Good luck hunting!
I kinda laugh at him sometimes how excited he gets ....but then I think about even that orange crush bottle is almost100 years old
Really like the longer videos!
Awesome
I enjoy your vids keep up the great work.
Your lucky, nugget.
With the amount of snow up here in N.H. I'll be digging by May.
I have an old orange crush like that!!!
nice finds nog . thanks for showing us the sound changes on the at pro .
Nice hunt man!
Awesome video, you're always finding some crazy stuff. I just got my garrett ace 250 metal detector in the mail last week and saw you and abby on the back of a magazine that came with it!
Nice hunt that big knife was interesting =)
Hey man your videos are great so much so I have purchased my very first metal detector I live in Scotland and there's an amazing old castle just 10 minutes away me and the kids are going to go up and find some relics! Thanks for the inspiration
Whats up nugget… Love your vids, so fun to watch and interesting. I live in NC and there are a bunch of old 1800's homes in the woods and farms. Id love to get into this. You should come out here and dig, these places are untouched, i wonder whats out there. Good Luck looking forward to your next vids.
Nice Video Nugget!
awesome video :)
Great hunt Mike.
Be well,
Al-Fu
Great videos! I enjoy the history that comes with your finds. I'm making a guess that at 8:45 the patented object you are holding might be an early (and newly patented) clothing snap, as they were invented and first patented in 1885. It looks like the date on it reads "1886". Keep up the good work!
the round piece marked with the patent date could be the knob for a oil lamp.
Hey Nugget,
Another interessting video. Thanks for sharing.
This housesite really seems to be the hell of iron nails :D.
PP-AT seems to be working very well... looking foward to get mine this or next week :).
GL&HH
Flo
i would have laughed when you stepped on the dirt clump to find the horse buckle if it had gotten stuck on the bottom of your boot.......lost the signal lol
Nice Orange Crush!!
***** Thanks!
sweet video :)
Nugget you HAD to climb under that house even though you didn't want to lol. I would to ,hello abbey
I've been watching your vids for years HH
The little brass thing with 2 little bumps on each end thats next to the black button looks a lot like a springfield rifle clip from ww2. I might be wrong but it looks basically the same.
Hi Nugget, Thanks for the videos! I find them very interesting. I have a question. Can you give us a few hints on how you pick your spots in the woods?
I've found a 1960 orange crush bottle!
Please lord let me get my preordered AT Propointer soon Nuggetnoggin before the summer dang it. HH treasures
Nice hunt!! I think your making aqua chigger jealous!! Haha. Great axe head, did you manage to get any brand or writing off of it?? I love old axes and hatchets. Take care!!
Love your videos. thanks for sharing. Question: have you ever offered to mow someone's grassy and weedy yard just so you can dig?
I also hunt for stuff but only in my small back yard but I have found a few wheet penny's and a button but I don't think it's very old but who knows
Nugget, Have you ever seen Bigfoot out in those woods?
I see you have got the new garrett carrot, how do you like it? I have seen a bit about them and they seem to be really good.
You found also an nice clip for the German Mauser rifle ! Are there also stamps in it?
Greetz
Ur the best :D
Another fascinating hunt; always hold my breath when you crawl under those rickety shacks! Looks like Abby wore her fancy hunting boots on that hunt! Hey, let me know what you think of that new AT propointer!
nice old bottle. Just wondering if the knife thing you found might be a meat saw?
Nugget,
The old homesites that seem to be everywhere around your area are most likely sharecropper and tenant farmer homes. These people farmed by horse, mule and oxen power. In the 1920s, engine driven tractors could suddenly do the work of ten man/mule teams. The sharecroppers and tenant farmers were evicted. This replacement of human power with engine power is responsible for the Great Depression. At the same time, the auto industry was looking for a lot of human labor. These evictees moved north to Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, etc.
You should go dredging, I love it's when u dredge :D
TheCambobsherwood I will this spring, it's a little bit too cold right now. Thanks for watching!
This house is a little dangerous but we will look around anyway lol
hey nugget just a quick question for you if you got the time. I am going to buy another detector and I want to mainly hunt for coins and rings. What would be better for this, the Whites Coin Master or the Garret Ace 250? Thanks your time!
soon you will have all the parts and build your own car!!
What type of camera do you use when making water detecting videos?
I wonder what dose he do with the stuff he finds?? Interesting to watch this
How do you know what some of those metal parts are. Example Model T valve..whatchamacallit is? I'm amazed that you can recognize things that I would never have a clue what they are. Great vids though. Keep em coming.
Patent September 4 1886. Steam carriage carburureting fixing.
Are the new pro pointers on the market yet, or do you have a test one?
Hi nugget I watch all your videos just wondering how you get your at pro so loud I can hardly hear mine even with the headphones I bought the Grey ghost amp and there worse than the ones that came with it any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks and have a great year
Beau gave you some "heck" in his last vid, but anyone who tries to chop the ice with his axe....
How do you find such amazing spots. I went some were I thought was good and I got nails
5:20 looks like its from a pilgrim hat
How much scrap brass you have?
On this video you find a large metal blade (at the 11 minute mark of the video), but you didn't show it at the end with your findings. It looks like the blade of an old shaving razor "advertisement piece". It's missing the wooden/ivory/celluloid handle (which someone could easily remake). It probably hung outside a barber shop letting people know the barber gave shaves as well. it's definitely valuable. If you didn't keep it, I'd go back and get it. Ive never seen one before but guessing if its in as good as shape as it appeared it could bring as much as $100.
just guessing the flat brass thing was a broken fuel adj. off a lamp..i'm sure that was your guess too
Where would one purchase this garret product
it would be cool to see how many hot wheels you have found
Oh boy. What are your opinions on the new pro pointer?
Спасибо за хорошее видео. У нас в России тоже зима землю не прокопаешь((((!
In Russia, relics did YOU!
Шучу оставаться в тепле моего друга
Always enjoy your videos. How do you like the new Garrett pin pointer?
Jerry Rose I need more time using it to determine that . I have a few issues with it that I will explain in one of my videos .
You have so many old abandoned houses around you. Are they on your property?
Just an idea you think the round item you found might be a shotgun shell missing the primer? On second thought nope can't be hmmmm I'm stumped
I see you have the new Garrett AT Propointer. How do you like it? I ordered one over a month ago...still waiting!
