As a practicing Catholic and music major with a degree in music education I love this production.
As a student of classical orthodox Christianity I do have concerns especially the use of extra canonical LDS scriptures. Although my grandma did have a gold page lined KJV I am not a fan of the Mormon book adoption of old English (KJV 1611 issues are not the issue for me). The BOM seems to really answer and address a lot of specific 1900th century Protestant theological issues of that era.
I find it hard to believe that supposed ancient Israelites living many years before Christ were tackling 1900 century reformation issues, questions and theological concerns. It makes more sense to me that the BOM is a modern accretion. As beautiful and contextualized as it was written I believe it to be a modern work. Superb Americana theology.
That being said I am however a fan of a true spiritual recognition of a love for the Savior. Pax Christi to you and yours❤
