Also I really love the classical samples section! If you do another one of these videos, one for you to add - Jungle Game by SF9 uses the melody from In the Hall of the Mountain King by Edvard Grieg.
Unpopular opinion: most of the kpop songs that use classical pieces feel like trashy, over the top, remixes, where they recycle these beautiful pieces in unoriginal ways. I think classical music and kpop simply don't go well together.
@@annadamico1685 I'm a musician, I love classical music, I've done a fair bit of singing it. I think sampling in pop music is just fun, it doesn't cheapen the original piece because the original piece still exists. Also, sometimes you get beautiful re-imaginings, like Red Velvet's Feel My Rhythm!
@@wobinwobinwobin I think my main issue is the lack of originality, not only in kpop, but in pop music in general, which causes producers to mindlessly recycle older music. I guess that's just how commercial music works, it's not meant to be innovative or experimental, it's a mere product, consumable by the masses. Now, there's nothing inherently wrong with that, and as you said sometimes there are nice and creative re-imaginings, so I see why people enjoy it.
That bed squeak sound has a chokehold on the whole music industry, I can never escape it... I even use it in a lot of my own tracks 😭

I don't know this specific song's name but I noticed it recently in Stray Kids' Case 143 (but it's also commonly sampled in most "Bossa Nova" kpop songs) if you do a part 3 I'd love to know what other songs sample it!
