I am an American and I need help understanding why y'all call The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton? It sounds so disrespectful to me. Why don't y'all call her, Catherine, Princess of Wales? I understand that she was born a Middleton, but isn't she married now? If you want to call her by her nickname of Kate, at least call her Kate, Princess of Wales. Due to their royal status, they don't use their last names. For school, George is George Cambridge. Only blood royals can be Princess and then the name, none blood persons such as Catherine, is Catherine, Princess of Wales.
