    this is not called a noon bell... this is the bell that rings for the Angelus Prayer... in honor of the Angel Gabriel appearing to Mary the Mother of God that she will bare a son. This is also rung at 6pm

    So this is 2018 and I’m not so sure if they still use real bells because in another video this basilica was using a maas Rowe carillon... what is the church running on today?

    ...sounds not very well with this arched yoke. But it's better than a computer-bell.

      Straight yokes in North America are virtually unknown. And churches in the USA and English Canada are infested with electronic chiming and imitation pealing.
