PSY 2120: Why study research methods in psychology?

This video addresses why it is important to study research methods in psychology. After introducing myself, I discuss that psychologists think scientifically, and that a scientific attitude is helpful in all facets of life. And finally, I point out that almost everything we know about human thought and behavior is based on research. To understand this research, one must be familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of the methods used to collect the data.
