I love Daniel Smith burnt Sienna, the slight pink is so pretty. But for the orange toned typical shades, My faves are Da Vinci, Holbein, and I really love Roman Szmal Blue ridge burnt Sienna . Great video! I love this series so much

I have DS burnt sienna on my palette. I used to work with Prismacolor pencils before I started watercolor (and I still combine them sometimes), and DS's version is the closest I could find to my beloved Prismacolor Sienna Brown pencil. I've tried others and liked them, but if i want an orange brown, I'm more likely to reach for Transparent Red Oxide.

It seems like burnt sienna has become more orange over the years. I have an ancient tube of Grumbacher Academy made from PBR7 which is honestly my favorite hue of it. I think it's similar to the Blue Ridge. DSs is pretty classic, but W&Ns is like a burnt orange. And much as I love Mjello, you can never really trust the Asian brands to do earth tones the way we interpret them in the west. It's really a Transparent Brown Oxide.

Heh. I'm almost certain Paul Rubens mixed up the names of their "Umber" with "Burnt Sienna." I like Paul Rubens as an affordable brand, but they ALWAYS seem to make major typos in their pigment charts. And in this case, apparently the names. I always imagine they are creating the pigment charts in a burning building, and are hurriedly trying to finish with no proofreading, before evacuating 🔥🏢

Loved your video ❤ At 6:00 into the video, you opened a large yellow plastic palette.
Do you know the manufacturer? Where you bought it? I clicked your Jackson link, but I can't find it.
Thank you in advance for any assistance. Burnt sienna is my top 10 favorite color.
I have many brands, too. Mission Gold is my favorite, although most of their colors seem too opaque for me.
