Once you get the flash pro, the base map will lower vtec crossover to 4500 rpms. Also, it will eliminate the annoying rev hang. Get a lightweight flywheel when you are ready for a new clutch, you’ll go through the rpms faster.
Rev hang is when you want to move up to the next gear, the RPM needs to drop down to get into that gear. With a lightweight flywheel, there will be less "momentum" built up in the RPM, allowing it to drop quicker, hence shift quicker. Base map basically just means recommended settings from factory (tuned but not perfectly tuned). A good reliable preset.
That crossover sounds nasty.. Wish my 9th gen hit like that.. I noticed the typhoon on your 8th sits more closer back to the fire wall then the one on my 9th.. great vid!

what exactly does a throttlebody spacer do? the only thing I can think of would be to spray nitrous but I doubt you plan on adding a nitrous system (I may be wrong, nothing wrong that)

Also just to add the cherry on your car grab a wide angled Broadway mirror for optimal visibility; along with a set of window visors from weather tech, you can thank me later lol.
Also i know imma get my ass grilled by the racing community, but also look into some raceland coilovers if you have stock suspension. Ill be getting mine in the next couple of weeks.

That short ram intake although it may sound cool is useless. You need a cold air intake with some sort of heat shield. Think about it, sure the distance the air has to travel is shorter but that means it's getting hot air from the engine shoved back in to it which is less dense and breathable if that makes sense. Imagine trying to breathe hot air all the time. You wouldn't go as well as you could, pretty much the same with engines.
+Euro Tense I think that with a tune, I would see results. My sri is connected to part of my oem intake, which draws cold air in from my inner wheel well up to the k&n. So technically, I wouldn't consider it a short ram, more of a hybrid set up. Wanted to go CAI, but don't want to deal with hydro locking the motor
When I had my Honda accord type r i had a k&n long arm induction kit it went down to the hole in the bumper and comes with a cover so hydrolocking isn't an issue I'm sure it will fuck up going through a river obviously lol, anyway I'm sure you can get a filter cover similar to what k&n come with for my type r.
I have been looking at vented Carbon Fiber hoods. But I might half to go custom cause I want the intake to be on the open vent. Problem is if it rains I am so fucked lol. Tcho2100 basically helps the flow of air. More air = better combustion = more torque+hp so that your engine doesn't have to work as hard to get the correct fuel to air mixture.

Arvin Jami oh yeah most definitely. There's barely any significant hp gain (about 2-5 hp without aftermarket throttle body) but the torque increases dramatically (about 10 pounds or even more).

I have the same intake. It's plenty loud even with the FlashPro tune. It crosses over VTECH first at 4500, but it get gradually louder (and produces more power) throughout the entire upper powerband. Once you hit 6000K (after the tune), it's still hella loud. +GerbProductions try it in a tunnel XD it's amazing.

Get a raceheader.I have the same Yonaka carback with a Vibrant Catlessheader, the crossover is pretty loud. Only bad part is the drone.The constant exhaust pops make up for it though :))
Yeah, as of right now it has a little rasp from 3-4K but after that it just screams. Drone can get annoying especially around 4K, but it's worth it in my opinion

I used to own an 08 Si Coupe back when it was new. I liked it but moved up to an 08 Accord Coupe V6 (J35Z3) 6 Speed. The J35 Accord in MT will annihilate that weak @$$ Civic and put a big smile on your face doin it! The Si has ZERO torque unless you Super/Turbocharge or put NOS. Do yourself a favor and grab an Accord V6 (3.5) Manual or at least an 03 Acura CL Type-S Manual! List of Hondas Owned in Order (all MT): 91 Integra RS, 08 Civic Si Coupe, 93 Prelude SiR (H22 VTEC), 05 RSX-S, 95 Legend LS Coupe (Type II), 03 Acura CL-S (J32A2), 14 Accord EX Coupe (K24W), 06 Accord EX-L V6 Coupe (J30A5), and 08 Accord EX-L V6 Coupe (J35Z3). Increased acceleration & torque. It widens your throttle body up, allowing more air flow. It's a dope little mod man.

I see a lot of I-VTEC kick in at 5500 - 6000 rpm. Why does mine kick it at 4000 rpm!? I have a 2009 Honda Civic Si coupe.
Because yours has a tune or basemap on it most likely. Stock ivtec is 5800 rpm.

I used to own an 08 Si Coupe back when it was new. I liked it but moved up to an 08 Accord Coupe V6 (J35Z3) 6 Speed. The J35 Accord in MT will annihilate that weak @$$ Civic and put a big smile on your face doin it! The Si has ZERO torque unless you Super/Turbocharge or put NOS. Do yourself a favor and grab an Accord V6 (3.5) Manual or at least an 03 Acura CL Type-S Manual!

Gerb Productions no its ugly and the crossover sounds shit , theres plenty of hatches out there if you sold that yoke and put the 3k wit it. if you get an em1 b16 with type r cams youl fill the clock in about half a mile . dont say you wont because ive done it

I prefer to hear an LS7 V8 (7.0L) with a procharger, upgraded injectors, custom headers, E85 poley, MRT Intake, Borla Pipe kit, catalytic delete, X pipe resonator swap, and some Borla mufflers...now that's a sound...but not this lawnmower.
Cool story bro, everyone prefers different. Just because i like v8's as well, doesn't mean i dislike honda's, especially the k series. Listen to all the v8's you want, that's probably the closest you will get to owning something like that lol. Besides, my lawnmower is fun & get 32 mpg highway allowing me to road trip whenever i want. What's your fan boy V8 7.0L get for mpg's? Also i doubt that a V8 with a kit like that will never reach 300k miles. Keep trolling bro, that's all you're good at.
