- I went to GalaxyCon Richmond to ask anime fans and anime cosplayers the important questions: Worst Anime, Overrated Anime, & Worst Anime Fandom!
Many anime fans consider Jujutsu Kaisen to be overrated, criticizing its rushed action scenes and lack of character-driven story moments. One Piece is also mentioned as overrated, with some fans finding it too long and repetitive. Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan are also mentioned as being overrated, with some fans feeling that they became overhyped after their initial seasons.
As for the worst anime, fans mention titles such as D.Gray-man, One Punch Man, Black Clover, Vampire Knight, and Code Geass. Some fans also express their dislike for My Hero Academia, criticizing its characters and fanbase.
Regarding the worst fandom, fans mention My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Some fans find the My Hero Academia fandom to be overly aggressive and toxic, while others criticize the Dragon Ball fandom for their unwavering belief that Goku can defeat any other anime character. The Jujutsu Kaisen fandom is also mentioned for its tendency to spoil the show and harass others.

👀How would you answer these questions?
Here are two suggestions for good anime, oh my goddess and bubblegum crisis. No spoilers but the characters have more substance than 99% of anime you see now, they don't try to be big or obnoxious or silly or unreasonably unrealistic.
Dragon Ball GT was so bad so terrible so horrible that even the creator himself apologized for that abomination of an anime.
Worst fan base hands down no question, no debate, no nothing, Yu-Gi-Oh.
My top 3 overrated anime are
-one piece, it's a good shonen but people treat it like it's the best written story of all time
- death note, it starts decent but the asspulls light makes after misa is intrpduced are pure bs
-gintama, kinda thr same as one piece ,but the fanbase is smaller andd less annoying
Worst anime, it shows how the people in the video don't really go out of their way to watch old/lesser known anime, in general video game adaptations to anime are bad, but the ones that standout the most for me are devil survivor 2 and caligula effect, both of them ignore and change crucial plot points changing the story for the worse
Most toxic fanbase
-bnha between shipping wars, hipocrisy of sexalization, and death trheats to the author they really are the worst
-pokemon, shipping wars again, drama from every new season because it's not xy amd constant whinning that they want ash back really earned them a spot besides bnha
Tokyo ghoul, more shippong wars, death threats because their ship isn't canon constant whinning about the anime being bad, but they do a 180 when it's compored to anything other than the manga
Another overrated anime IMO is sailor moon. I have never seen such daft or dense characters in any other anime.
