    Always a pleasure to see good ideas and good engineering. Tires look good on the GH. Thumbs up for both of you! (By the way: in these “phone days” with small displays it’s a bit hard to see details/small parts if they are not up close to the camera)

    Very cool adapter! Almost every tire is better than the stock ones :) Can you install the Scorpion front tires too?

    • @ShenRC
      @ShenRC  Před 6 lety +1

      Thanks, I think you can but I am not 100% sure you may need to get different bearings.

    • @Remoteaddicted

      Bearing shouldn't be a problem :)

    • @ShenRC
      @ShenRC  Před 6 lety

      DONE! you just need 4 5x8MM x 2.5mm ball bearings see photo here czcams.com/users/shenloncocommunity?view_as=subscriber if you cant see it go to my channel page and click on the top the community tab. looks bad to the bone! =)

    Are there ball bearings in the rear and front wheels? Sorry I'm a newbie

    • @ShenRC
      @ShenRC  Před 3 lety

      Hi the kit's come with plastic bushings you need to order a bearing kit if you want the best performance. Thanks for watching.

    Hello, could you tell me if the Kyosho rear tire diameter is the same or larger than the stock Hornet? I was hoping to increase ground clearance under the rear diff with a slightly larger tire. Thanks.

    • @ShenRC
      @ShenRC  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi they are a little larger than a new hornet type tire but as soon as you use the hornet and the spikes wear a little the kyosho ones are bigger and stay larger bacuse they don't wear out like the hornet tires do. Thanks

      Thank you for responding. That sounds perfect. I made a skid plate to protect the bottom of the dif and need a little increased clearance.
      Any tips for getting the Kyosho front wheels onto the Hornet? I see that you have listed a bearing size, 4.5x8 mm x 2.5.

    I really like this design, but would like to modify it to fit one of my other vehicles. Is there any way i could get an stl file, or an email to contact the designer. thanks.

    • @ShenRC
      @ShenRC  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi I designed these and just had ampro make the product. I don't think Ampro gives out his design files. what are you wanting to do?

      @@ShenRC thats ok, I was just thinking of making a standard 12mm hex adapter for the kyosho wheels. would it be difficult for me to design my own?

    • @ShenRC

      I don't know how hard it would be.

    I bet these cost you a fortune is the stuff they already have out for these cars cost a great deal just to ship which I think is ridiculous from what the park costs I can't afford this and I'm surprised they haven't made it as standard issue from them to buy. And they should have paid you for your idea.

    • @ShenRC
      @ShenRC  Před 2 lety

      I don't think it's that much $ all I know is you can get the scorpion rear tires for $13.00 shipped off e-bay don't know about the wheels but they do make the hoppers run much better. 😁👍
