LOL 18mph and any faster it breaks 🙂Funny I run my Maxx on 3s not 4s and that's too fast on 3s for me. It does seem fast enough to me to be fun and not flipping over all the time.

That is more than enough speed and acceleration for that chassis. I have seen videos of it on 4s and it's insane. 3s would be good for a laugh, but general running and doing tricks, 2s will do. Great video mate 👍

How fast do you The nitro version can go on 20% nitro and could you see that one breaking just as easy going over 25 mph? I still have one brand new in the box!

That's strange for plastic, normally body mounts are softer plastic. That steering rod the end seems thin, I would be tempted to make my own ones. Kyosho have always been not so good for spares.

It is odd the way you describe it falling apart like that. Almost wonder it if was just a defective part when it was made, like the chemical mix was of. Strang things happen! Glad you got it fixed and it you also had some spares on hand! Kyosho is pretty iffy about if you are going to be able to find a part in stock or not! have a great weekend Steve!

Ours has taller narrower crawler wheels and tires on it. I want to return it to monster truck tires and wheels

It sucks that Kyosho doesn’t have the part support like Tamiya or Traxxas or arrma

Ours broke one of the rear shock housings because of bad plastic. Maybe it is the shock oil that makes it brittle. I finally got the right spur gear for ours so we can get it up n running again. I put shocks from my redcat gen 8 on it. Maybe not the best choice but I had em laying around

One benefit to getting a bag of parts was that you already had a spare part from that previous repair. 😁

Steve, a rechargeable battery has a max input current. as you add batteries the current spread across each cell goes down. Thus, to maintain max current into each cell , you increase it as the cell number goes up.

I have a twenty year old 8 bay charger that's the size of a house brick, and my rechargeable AA's that still work are about the same age too. It's something I've never thought about replacing but this could be an upgrade worth considering, especially with the better technology in the batteries. Thanks Steve.
