Hi Steve. It's good to see your old Pajero again. It's been a while and I'm glad the old 80T came through in the end. You can still get 80T brushed motors direct from RC4WD I left this comment with the link earlier but CZcams took it down?? "Hockey Pucks" is the perfect description for the stock tyres😂 That really made me lol 😂They're so hard I use them to keep some of my RC's off the ground when they're not being used! Looking forward to the run my friend 🙂👍🏼👍🏼
Yes the tires are like hard rocks! Thanks for the input, The motor seems fine now I broke it in again but without any electric.
Nice prep work to get the old Pajero ready for the trails! Amazing that the motor came back!👍😊
Thanks HD! she's ready to go!
"Hockey pucks"!!! 🤣🤣 That is so true Steve!!! You did lots of superb upgrades on this rig, I think I copied most of them! Nice tip with the WD40 and the brush. Wow I could almost smell the burning when the motor went pop! Amazing how you got it running again. Cheers! 😎👍
Thanks 👍 Mark I think something fell on the com when I flipped it over I re broke it in without electric and it seems good now.
What a lovely video from the Shen RC garage 😀
Yeah Racing makes 80T motors 💨
Thanks and thanks for the info.
So cool u got it to come back to life and work again 👍
Yes re broke it in without electric just turning the wheels with a drill hooked on the wheel nut did the trick. 👍
I love this pajero tamiya. I would love to have one. It remember me my past 1:1🤩💪
Thanks, this is a cool small truck.
Omg holy smokes! You beefed it up good tho👍
Thank you 😋
Check the beginning of your video when you first put the battery in and turned it on there was sparks under the motor! 🔥
Thanks, It must have had something on the motors com maybe from sitting so long a spider a web who knows! LOL!! Thanks for watching.
I have made similar mods to my cc01. Boy does it need some work ti get it to perform.😅 Good that you brought yours back to running order.👍😊
It's a small rig but always so much fun to drive for me. Thanks
Great maintenance video. Great the motor runs again. Maybe it was just dirt and old oil inside causing the smoke.
Yea it was when I flipped it I think something got on the motors com. Thanks for watching.
I have a set of Rock Claws from a used rc i bought and they are SOOO good!!
Yep best CC01 sized tires I ever tried nothing beats them!! Thanks for watching.
I just got my cc-01 back in running condition to but still want to do more to it they are not the best truck but for some reason fun to work on that was some some smoke show
👋🙂👍
Going to laugh me and my brothers CC01 climbed up the steepest rock that none of our axial redcat and other crawlers could not do only the CC01 trucks did it. they can go up steep angles.
@ShenRC yes they can mine is a good climber to
I agree those are the worst tires from Tamiya or possibly any other major manufacturer as they are way to hard! The smoke show was a bit unexpected. Maybe you got a bit of WD40 on the brushes and it smoked up? I would still be on the hunt for a new motor! Amain have the Yeah racing 80T motors in stock for $18. Have fun on the trip out with it, fingers crossed it lasts the trip!
Rubber rocks! Addam I think when i flipped it over something fell in on the com and sparked up. I re broke it in without use of electric and it seems to be working fine...hope it don't smoke up on the trail that would stunk!! Thanks for the info.
Carson do an 80T motor. A lot of the 1:14 scale truck guys use them, if you need one in the future
Thank you. 👍
Now you have sn excellent reason to go buy a Holmes Hobby Trail Master!!!!!!
Na she's working great now after the non electric re break in. 👍👍
nice
Thanks very much.
You lucked out with that motor! There are various companies that make 80t motors, but it looks like you don't need one, now.
Cool! Yeah I re broke it in without any electric . Thanks
Why change the motor just pipe the smoke to an exhaust 🙂The CC01 seems to ware a lot of parts out the driveshaft the worse. Motors are cheap and I think they still do 80t . But how did it come back to life.
Crazy I think when I turned it upside-down something fell on the com and buggered it up. I got it going now so hopefully out on the trail it will last! Thanks
