Giant Refugee Puppet 'Little Amal' Visits Vatican on Journey to U.K.

- A giant puppet, representing a Syrian girl, traipsed across the cobblestones in St. Peter's Square on Friday to raise awareness to the plight of migrants.
The 3.5 metre (11.5 feet) tall puppet, called "Amal", is on a journey from Gaziantep, a city on the Turkish-Syrian border, to England.
She stopped off in Rome and the Vatican City to promote a simple message: "Don't forget about us."
Hundreds of children gathered around "Amal" as her puppeteers moved her around.
At one point, she embraced a sculpture in the square which represents migrants traveling aboard a ship.
Pope Francis has made the plight of migrants one of his top priorities and a senior cardinal was on hand to welcome "Amal".
The puppet's journey, officially titled "The Walk", has been organised by the "Good Chance Theatre".
Organisers say she is meant to represent the millions of migrant children across the globe.
So far, "Amal" has crossed Turkey, Greece and Italy and she will continue to France, Switzerland, and Germany.
Her final destination will be Manchester, in England, where she expected to arrive in November.
In all, the puppet's entire journey will cover 8,000 kilometres (4,970 miles).

Lol, what propaganda? The propaganda of a group of people deciding to make a puppet and walk from Syria to the UK to highlight the ongoing plight of Syrian refugees who are real humans with real lives and problems? Or is it the propaganda of simply recording what they're doing and showing it? Or maybe the propaganda is whatever you've swallowed in your life to make you say this?
