    When a computer costs more than your first car….looks epic 😍

      That's what we're all about here -- building PCs that are more expensive than cars.

    I don't know if got it right! But you can't put as many as 5 A6000 as you are saying for led wall because multigpu just support 2 per render node.

    • @copilotco
      @copilotco  Před 2 lety +1

      You're absolutely right! There's room for 5 PCI-E slots on the motherboard, but definitely couldn't use that many for a volume 😊

    Yeah the a6000 is more than 4 times the memory of the 3080 but definitely nor 4times the rendering speed. The rtx cards are very fast cards but where the A series shows supremacy over rtx cards would be when rendering very large memory intensive projects otherwise a 3090 packs more speed than most amA series cards

    • @koshomat
      @koshomat Před rokem +1

      The difference is the capability to use quadro sync II with the A6000. You can't do that with a 3090, and it's very helpful to fight a whole range of problems when shooting LED walls (the magic word is genlock)

    I have an RX 6700XT, and I am a beginner in UE5, so I was thinking of swapping my GPU with an RTX 4060, as Nvidia has good support for development software. I need suggestions.

    3:50 , 5 A6000 in there ? Can you explain how to configure A6000 5 GPU on that motherboard. Thanks in advance

    Just so you know, every unreal engine build advice vid I've seen has advice to buy that weird nvidia 5000 dollar graphics card and 6000 dollar threadrippers. WE KNEW THAT ALREADY!!!!!!!! How can I build one? Can I get away with a 3070 if my visual style is borderlands with raytracing. Is a high speed nvme truly necessary? How long does it take to render the goddess temple scene with movie render que and a 5700x and 3060. Stuff like that would be nice. I'm glad you got a great system. Fortnite must be awesome. But doesn't really help someone doing the search 'unreal engine 5 computer hardware build.' Just sayin.

      Hey! This video is specifically focused on a build geared toward Virtual Production... We wish we had more time to play Fortnite 😅

    Nice build guys! I started my UE journey with custom Imac 2020 intel i9 128 gb ram 16gb 5700xt running window bootcamp.
    Will you consider add Blackmagic decklink 8k pro for video capture card? love your channel.

      Hey Simon, thanks for tuning in-- We have since added the decklink 8k pro for SDI input and genlocking :)

    Almost exactly the same build I was thinking of except I'm waiting on the soon-to-be-released 5000 series of Threadripper. Depending on pricing, I can get either 5990 or the 3990 if I see a significant drop in price. For cooling, I'm going to go with the IceGiant ProSiphon Elite CPU Cooler.

    How are the thermals on that Threadripper using air-cooling?

    • @copilotco
      @copilotco  Před 2 lety +3

      Usually sits around 45-55 Celsius! Surprisingly good with the Noctua. Haven't had any heating problems and we've pushed it hard...
