@@gibleymana lot of telltale games have been removed but you can still find them on physical release. I did had bttf on ps4 and mc story mode on Xbox one. But I can’t find my Xbox one of my bttf game. So I did pirate both of them. I also never got to finish story mode since I didn’t get the dlcs or season 2.
Sonic’s original movie design was truly one of the most scariest but funniest moments in history. I’m shocked they brought the nightmare back in the new Chip and Dale movie.

It's not even the same model! They made a different, even uglier version of the model for that movie when the whole point was that the original model was the problem!
@@misirtere9836 From what I've heard, Ugly Sonic in that movie didn't require the rights because it qualified for parody law, so if they had just used the original model, they would have had to pay for it.
The Lola bunny one was the best one. Because that was just people outing themselves all the time.
Not to mention we already seen different variations of her in Movie, TV Show and Comic Book form, so I still don't get why most people are still complaining about her Design in Space Jam 2: A New Legacy just because its different from the other times we seen her in for almost 2 Decades.

I was really shocked seeing Ugly Sonic in the chip and dale movie and the fact they had 2 running gags with him
1. They keep showing us his human teeth
2. His show with the FBI “Ugly Sonic, Uglier Crimes” which If that’s actually a thing, I would watch it
Surprisingly, he actually had a good life in the movie. He used his infamy to become his own identity, and told the duo that he had a show with the FBI which turned out to be actually true and even helped the cast. So Disney basically gave him a good life after the controversy.
I love that in the Mario movie they gave Mario and Luigi Italian accents in their commercial as a joke to show that they don’t always need Italian accents in everything.
Whenever I try imagining how the movie would be if they had the accents all the time I would think of that 1 and a half minute video of mario screaming "MAAAAAAMMAAAAAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAUAUAUUAUAUAUAAAAAAA" and then I remember why having no high pitched voice or accent is better

He's seen the world's reaction to him and it must definitely hurt for him to receive all this backlash. But he's not gonna give up life, as he's committing himself into new shows, embracing himself to a new persona.

Lot's of my friends call me a "Horn ball" but I find Lola's design in the first SJ movie to be unconfirmable since that movie was targeted more for a family audience so it will be very awkward to show this to the kids/teens who is starting or going into that phase where they sometimes can't control it. Even thought Space Jam 2 was a total failure I do like her redesign being more tame and fitting into the style a lot more. And dare I say, quite attractive in it's own right? Not -really- sexually but how charming she looks for an anthro bunny like Haru from Beastarts. But yeah, going on a riot online because "MY BIG TITTIES SEXY BUNNY!" doesn't have excessive curves on her body anymore is fucking asinine and if you want that and less/no clothing you can just privately go to R+18 websites all call it a day. Also she had no personality in the first movie at all and thankfully she have one in later shows that she was in (Basically don't stick your dick in crazy, but I know some people love that shit and do it anyways to get into all sorts of insane situations especially if the girl demands sex right on the spot or else she will outright shoot you in the fucking head with a loaded pistol that she got by barely legal means. That type of fucking insanity.) and was quite entertaining to watch.

So when I saw who was getting cast for which roles, all I could think of was Chris Pratt and Charlie Day in costumes fighting some version of Bowser with Jack Black's face plastered over a CGI model. What the hell was wrong with me?!

Correction for Charles Martinet part, he didn’t just do one voice line for one minor character, he also voiced Mario’s dad.
I get people defending Charles saying he’s a professional voice actor, and he is! But how the heck do they can’t recognize that Charles do more if they can’t tell he was voicing Mario’s dad in the movie??
You could tell he was voiced by Martinet towards the end of the movie when he said "Wahoo!" while praising Mario.
Something pretty cool about Charles Martinet role in the Mario movie is that he voiced the character of Giuseppe (that guy who compliments Mario & Luigi's accent in their commercials) in different languages and he also voiced Mario's dad in other dubs as well, not in the Neutral Spanish dub though, there Mario's dad was dubed by the same actor who dubbed Bob Hoskins as Mario in the live-action (that was actually pretty brilliant)

What’s the one about Iron Man 3 and the Chinese doctor?
@@eddiediaz5518 Iron Man 3 had some extra scenes for its Chinese release, it was actually nothing special, just Tony talking with a doctor played by a Chinese actor, a scene in China where the same actor appears for a second watching Tony with his suit on the TV and finally the same actor speaking with another Chinese actress in which they discuss the difficulty about removing the shrapnel in Tony's heart. The movie was co-procuded by a Chinese Studio so many were expecting China to be involved more in the story but in the end it was just those actors having a cameo, don't think the decision of changing the Mandarin's backstory, I was sure Marvel wouldn't use the character in that movie, many years later he would appear in Shang-Chi, but that movie didn't release in China

when Miyamoto first announced the cast of the Mario movie, I legit thought he was joking. I was like "no fucking way he's serious. he's going to say it was all just a prank." but it wasn't.
Fun fact: when I was in Glasgow city centre I had actually seen some of the areas cut off used for the batgirl movie and it was supposed to be for the motorcycle scene and you even show a bit whilst showing the behind the scenes stuff. The same happened with the new Indiana Jones movie where a portion of a different street was used for one of the parade scenes with all the band members and American flags hung up.
Charles Martinet was also the dad in the Mario movie.

If they had to redesign Sonic, they likely had to redesign the other CGI characters in the movie too, namely the Echidnas at the start of the movie, Tails at the end of the movie and even Long Claw (maybe, she's wasn't humanoid to begin with so...).

Chris Pratt playing a schlubby but enthusiastic guy is something I've never worried about. I'm way more worried about his perfomance as Garfield tbh.
I'm actually more worried if the Garfield movie is going to be successful, even if Chris wasn't cast as the titular cat. biggest loss about the batgirl movie is not seeing Brendan Fraiser as a superhero's villain
The REAL sin is that Dr. Robotnik did a floss instead of saying the iconic line "Pingus!"
I think after the Sonic Trailer released we should've formed a singular, world-wide nation to destroy the collective memory of... "it's" existence. But then again I guess we kind of forget when his design MASSIVELY improved. I do love it when they remake a classic character with an updated but classic-style design. Much more worth it then world peace.

What's dumb about the Lola drama is that the image being used to show how she was "downgraded" was a fanart, so it was outrage over something not in the movie.

The Mario Movie controversy is just what made the ice crack regarding Hollywood celebs being used in place of actual voice talent. I fully believe that movies like Elemental and Ruby Gillman didn't bring on that level of starpower for the sake of avoiding that sort of backlash.
It is a GENUINE problem in Hollywood. Every other language dub of the Mario movie had to CAMPAIGN to NOT have celeb casting, and it paid off (with most if not all other language dubs getting ACTUAL VAs for the major characters).
And in this specific scenario, there was no actual auditions process for the voices in the Mario movie, they were all pre-chosen if Seth Rogan's comments are anything to go by. Chris Pratt did not have to contend with anyone, and Martinet has said HE WAS NOT EVEN CONTACTED until AFTER the movie was already in production (I think he said this in a tweet response to a question).
The controversy is more than just "ah man chris pratt fucking sucked in the teaser trailer" it is the bubbling over a problem that's been growing for decades, where mediocrity in voice acting skill shouldn't be normalised just because they're celebs. Did Chris do ok? Sure, but 'ok' is NOT enough for FUCKING MARIO.

Hey Dimondbolt, with all these videos you've been making on movie and games I think you should look into films or projects that were cancled but still managed to make teaser trailer or some early promotional materials being released before cancelation. Such as projects like Roger Corman Fantastic Four, Dumbo 2, The Sly Cooper Movie, etc.

And that photo they've used fir the original design WAS NOT even in the OG movie or any promotional material for it. It was fanart!

I've been a Sonic fan for years, since my first video game was Sonic Unleashed for the PS2, a game I still have to this day. I remember hearing about the Sonic movie on TV, and when I heard the trailer was revealled, I basically watched it as soon as I could, which was at 8am before school. I remember just cringing, due to the awful design I was getting sent memes of and the fact for weeks I could not get Gangsta's Paradise out of my head. My friends sent me the trailer with the current design and I breathed a sigh of relief, the fact Paramount listened to fans amazes me

I still can’t believe to this day that even though “Sausage Party” had to remove pubic hair from one of its characters to avoid an X-rating, the movie’s biggest controversy had to do with the treatment of the production’s workers, not the film’s content
I mean no matter what movie it still sucks when the people behind it are treated poorly.

The funny thing about the original Sonic design is that the movie's target audience is children. If my Mom had taken me to see that when I was five, I would have cried.
