I find your vids extremely helpful bro, I live by the advice you give as to play by the mini map rather than tunnel vissioning out on the main screen ! Find it to be the best way to play by. I check it every like 5-10 seconds
Thanks tbull. I know thinking about how my presence forces the enemy to change positioning is something I need to incorporate more. Something else I think is valuable...especially in ships that are great at bow tanking...is being spotted and focused while minimizing damage taken. I've had 60k damage games where my aim has sucked or rng has not been on my side but have still been effective games because I've been able to survive a lot of potential damage for 10-15 minutes (but not from the back of the map). Much like a destroyer can have good games with little damage, you can affect the game without massive damage by just being a big dumb target and living. Obviously preferable to get a dev strike or 2 early in the game but part of the role is taking heat off of your cruisers while not killing yourself.
You always come out with something unique, man, every video--this is how battleship play can stay interesting. I see that like me, you also forget to use that spotting plane though lol.
Still working on map awareness, but good stuff as always.

Thanks for this. I struggle to find the right positioning in battleships. I tend to be too passive, worrying about destroyers or HE spammers, I like the way you always stess the stategic elements of the game in your videos 👍

Just a tip not mentioned, if you want even more range, use the max movement booster with a secret 5% range buff.
There is an old saying about how nothing grows slower than a bad haircut.
The same can kinda be said of BBs when they take the wrong tack early on. So slow to reposition.
I recall screwing up and getting the Colorado out on the very flank. I spent the whole game trying to find a target. Very slowly trying vainly to get a ship to shoot at. Oh so slowly.
I used to Do that to.
But the I remembered going to Knife fighting Distance is Much More Profitable.
and had some Really Good Games on my Normandy.

In addition to watching map I keep eye on game timer and how far I am from base realizing it takes me a good 2 to 3 mins travel time. To many bbs tunnel vision and sail to the edge basically removing the ship for minutes always plan ahead best you can use map and think if I sail here how long is my ship outta the fight.
I find myself having to go in a lot in BBs just to keep the cruisers safe. A lot of captains seem to be scared of chipping the paint on their BATTLEships. but it is fun to watch them get hunted down one by one in the endgame for their cowardice.
I've been telling people this (☝️) for ages. Make them painters EARN their service fee. You ALREADY GOT CHARGED...

Another awesome video! Would love to see something regarding using battlecruisers given they are move designed to be mobile vs nose focused armor designs. Would you play those very differently?

I’m for sure a battleship main, and there are few things more infuriating to me then seeing other battleships hopelessly out of position, camping 5 km behind spawn.

Those legendary bbs take some serious fire damage - it makes really hard to push the flank without good cover. Look small and unimportant and hit hard
Tbull when you angle bow does turning inwards slightly make enemy shells ricochet or is it more effective to angle straight bow with no slight turn?
Turn! By all means! Once you stay straight, the red's gunners WILL 'lock on' to your path. Once the enemy has fired his shells, remember, WW2, no 'smart' shells... They don't turn.... YOU can. ;) GL

I notice you go entire games with all your consumables left. Could have used your spotter plane to help tighten up shot groups a few times.
Todays matches for myself featured BB's in the back with the DD's. I quit asking why there's a Bizmark in the back spamming HE with a scared Fubuki.
The closer the weekend, the worse the teams. Have had a few good days of being consistently on the red team. I expect that will change tomorrow through Sunday as the potatoes take to the waves.
Is there a reason you didn’t use any of the 4 anti dispersion spotter planes u had,? Or just didn’t think of it during the heat of battle?
I notice a lot of videos he never uses his consumables. I don’t know why you would save them to go back to port with.
Hello T!.... I always watching your vids but this one i missed!!.... Question here ..if you can help or anyone please..... When is the best time to use the group shell plane?... At what distance? .... And if it worth, cus I didn't saw you used that thing not even once
I usually forget to use the spotter plane, but basically if you launch it right before you have a juicy shot about to fire, like a broadside target that you're hoping to score a big hit on

BB drivers Tiers 3 and 4 are great, BB drivers (a large percentage imho) Tiers 6 and above are an embarrassment.
