- First visit to Chicksands Bike Park and it definitely won't be the last.
This park has plenty of variety from flowy single-track trails, big drops, dirt jumps, tables, slalom tracks, downhill trails and much more, catering for beginner to pro rider.
For £10 this is amazing value for money. It's a shame it's not closer to home but it's well worth the drive.

keep up the good work
Just come back from chicksands today. Smaller than I thought it would be. But awesome. Those drops. The go pro, does not give it justice. Great place. Might go back next week.
Yeah, it's a good place. I preferred it to Woburn as there was more stuff I could ride.
@@Mark_Page_MTB how does it compare to farmer johns.
@@markmoss1035 I prefer Farmer John's all day long 😊
Looks like you enjoyed it, it’s a great place for all to build confidence and skill. The flow line was my favourite.
Yeah really enjoyed it mate. Such a variety of lines to ride. Shame it's so far away but well worth the drive 😊
8:26 "stand up to the jump"
Getting the speed right was the problem. Seemed to go either to fast or too slow. Eventually found the sweet spot
im building a bike track of my own
Nice 😊
It's in the rowhedge whaf
I've no idea what you just said 😂
Quick question Mark.
Did you learn to jump clipped in or on flats ?
Clipped👍
@@Mark_Page_MTB I think this is why you struggled with the table into 6 pack at chicksands. You are a far more accomlpished rider than me, but ive always run flat pedals. I think it cold be beeficial to learn to jump on flat pedals too and alternate. What do you think ? Interested to know your thoughts.
@@leehorspool9744 I'd say not to be honest as one of the lads riding with me, rides flats and he's significantly better than me and he was really struggling with them. Just as much if not, more so than me. It was all to do with the space between each jump and the difference in speed needed rather than the type of pedals. Once I'd got the timing right, I was getting over them easily, it just took longer than I thought. Don't think I'll ever go back to flats tbh
But there are limitations to what can be done on flats so depending on what you're wanting to achieve there are benefits to riding both and I think if you've started on flats you'd eventually have a better jumping technique 👍
@@Mark_Page_MTB oh. Ive never considered being clipped in. What limitations do you think i may experience ?
Where is that
It's near Bedford
