Chicksands Bike Park - What A Place - For Everyone

- Chicksands Bike Park is another place I've had on the list of for sometime. So after waiting for the weather to perk up a bit, it was finally time to head over and give it a blast.
I'd watched lots of videos on Chicksands Bike Park to see what is was all about and gauge whether it was for me or not.
It just seemed like fun with trails and features for all abilities. So with that said, Simon, Ben and myself made the 2 hr journey from Portsmouth to find out for ourselves.
Even for a weekend it wasn't that busy. Only £5 for the day ticket which you can order online through PayPal or pay on the day and the trails are all yours. Plenty to choose from ranging from beginners, and then all the way up to stuff I didn't want to touch.
The bike park is actually smaller than I thought. So with that said you don't have to cycle to far from one track to the next in order to get the most from the day. You don't have to push the bike to far either to get to the start of anything which was actually nice for once.
Chicksands Bike Park is such a great place and really is for everyone of any ability. You'll have so much fun. That much I can say.
We'll be planning another visit again soon.
Dual slalom looks ace mate. I really liked the soundtrack. Very chill. We need some places like this in Scotland. Not complaining about our trails mind!

Went to Chicksands a few weeks ago, the camera doesn't do the two drop offs justice, they look proper scary in real life and look nothing on the vid. Didnt get to do the dual slalom as it was closed off. 4x was good though
The drops look bloody tiny don't they on camera. People were worried about it when we went. So that's says it all. Such a good laugh. Great day out and worth the 2hr trip.

@@MikesMTBAdventures I watched this video then went to Chicksands Yesterday and holy hell are those dropoffs HUGE in person. They are shut at the moment for repairs.

@@MikesMTBAdventures loved it. It really is the perfect bike park. I live next to Aston Hill so that has been my go to park until now and chicksands blows it out of the water. Everyone we met was really friendly too.

Blast from the past this vid. Use to ride here all the time in the 90's. It's changed so much. Shame all the north shore has gone.

Just one quick thing, on snake run you definitely have enough speed to clear the gap in the middle. The lip is way more chill then you think.

The flow line
Best line there. Although only 2/3rds of it was shown in the vid. I also like a mix of the start of Snake run then merge on to Bull after the huge sender.
Snake 🐍 run ended my MTB career 🙈 ended up on hospital 🏥
