@@lorenzozangrilli5368 using earpick removal is pretty common. I’m not really sure what’s it called but it’s that skinny metal thing for picking out earwax
yes, normally if you just put it in directly, obviously it's gonna push the ear wax back. But I personally use them by putting them in and then spinning it whilst using my hand to move them around my ear canal in a circular motion. I combine this with doing a scoop-out motion.
Now that I think of it.... I haven't seen a single one for about 7-8 years... It feels like they just disappeared without trace. I thought I was going crazy, But turns out... I was crazy all along
I just stick it in as far as possible without touching anything (pre soaked in spirit) and gently pull it out while rotating the q tip sticking to one of four equally divided longitudinal section .
To those who want to continue using q-tips: make sure you purchase a camera for your ear canal. It’ll only cost you around $10. Then check your ear canal if there are soft or hard wax present. Next, make sure to purchase a metal pick to remove ALL kinds of earwax from your ear canal. Doctors say this is wrong because the ears need wax for protection against external debris but THEY are wrong. When you clear all of your hard/soft earwax, your ear canal will detect this and produce clean, clear, fresh earwax from the old yellow ones. Once you’re confident that your ear canal is clear and you can see your eardrum, then you can use a q-tip (I put 70% alcohol on my q-tips to really disinfect my ear canal & eardrum. It is safe because there is no more remaining earwax to push inside further. Been doing this for 15 years now. ENT doctors always get shocked because of how clean my ear canals are. They say it’s like looking at a royal palace because of how shiny and clean it is 😂 hope this helps you all
put some hydrogen peroxide in your ear let it soak for a min or two it will dissolve all the ear wax, but you'll need to take a tissue or smth and wipe it. it tickles the first couple times you do it as well
If anyone is wondering on how to clean your ears without q-tips. Just get a cloth and get it damp with warm water. And just clean the outer part of your ears, it still works. Our ears clean themselves over time by pushing earwax out of the ear canal so there's no need to use a q-tip.. it just gets rid of the ears cleaning progress 😅
Used them all my life, never really had any issues from wax when I saw the ear dr. The trick is to not shove it directly back, angle it and use a circular motion while pulling out of the ear. Also regular good hygiene helps

I've had issues with my earwax for years now and the first thing the docs told me was to stop using qtips. Never used them since and have been getting better. Actually they will help, only if you use them correctly! In order to use them correctly, instead of just pushing it in. You wanna push it upward well it’s in so it can get behind the wax, then just pull it out. Hope this helps!

Cotton swabs were meant for the outside of the ear or where the helix and the antihelix is. The spongy or cartridge of the ear.
We don't have anything other than q-tips and when i told my dad how bad they were he just said "not if you use them correctly" 😭
Same here😭

Stop using it, I was also like this when I was a kid, even after repeatedly being mentioned by an ENT doctor during regular check-ups.
Then one day a kid came in with full green ears like a algae on one side & doc told me that was due to same Q-tips. I got so enlightened that day, I asked her how are we supposed to clean our ears than if not that.
She mentioned our ears are designed in a way the ear way would eventually come out in its own. And it works.
@@vivekchauhan4085 so your just gonna leave your ears dirty so everyone can see it and just wait till the stuff comes out on is own?
@@axi5724 Hmm yeah but I don't get that much ear wax, never once got noticed. You can just rub it off. Some ppl may naturally have lot of ear wax & maybe in that case it could be noticeable but that's best for the ears.
But if you care more about asthestic's & getting ear infection go ahead it's your choice. And you will definitely have more ear wax by pushing it in.
its the only thing i have to clean my ears with, my ear wax gets so bad i cant hear well if i dont 💀
edit: my parents dont ever take me to the doctor, they wouldnt for something as 'stupid' as ear wax.
You have special sparys for cleaning ears inside, q tips are for outside only
Bruh sameee
I had to go to the doctor's to get my ear wax out like 3 months ago, and I still have so much wax
You can get them cleaned by a doctor or in the shower it’s gross but clean your ears with water and then use a q tip for the *OUTSIDE* of the ear
I have a little ear wax scooper thingy, maybe that would help?
I squirt water in my ears then use cotton balls to clean my ears
If the Q-tip box itself says specifically NOT to put in your ears, then wtf did they invent it for 💀💀💀

Fr, it’s so damn deep
Are we listening to different voices?
I use a thin nail cleaner to scrape the wax out lightly
I've used qtips my entire life. Im in my mid twenties, and i have the cleanest ears the doc has ever seen.
Seeing that animation at the start made we want to grab a pair of tweezers or sun and pull all that earwax right out
Same
be careful u might pull ur earbud out xd

Eardrum peirce incoming
Gdhbcjhgjjh,
It doesn’t “push it in” unless you let it build up way too much. The reason it says not to do so is because it can pop your eardrum
Actually no matter what it pushes it in. Even without buildup, it’s cause of how big the q-tip is compared to your ear size.
@@yaboissj not the case. People SAY IT . That doesnt make it true. Again, you were lied to by people sellinng something.
@@yaboissj if your only criteria for your beliefs is who told you something first, you are a wishy washy mess.
I recently ruptured my eardrum n I don't even care anymore😭😭😭q tip-ear partaaayyyy😭😭😭😭
@@melody3741 I clean my ears often! And I ended up with swimmers ear after sticking a q-tip down my ear. Yes it pushes any buildup of ear wax to your eardrum, so you’ve been lied to.
No matter how many of these videos I’ve watched. I’ll always use Q-tips. The trick is to wet the Q-tip first. That way you’re not leaving dry bits of cotton in your ear.
Also, you don’t need to go all the way back just gently swab on the out outer edges, keeping the Q-tip tilted
I use them after a shower. It makes the wax very liquid easy to clean up.
I use q tips and every time my ears are checked the doctors say i have no blockage and my ears are perfectly clean
Wow looks like either media is lying or people dont know how to use q tips
Same, I think it depends on the person
Shame
Same
@@shimshonklein6741 how you use it, properties of the tips, properties of the ear wax, etc
@@shimshonklein6741 it depends if you use it when your ears actually have a lot of wax.
In England they don’t sell q-tips they sell similar to products that are smaller so it doesn’t push your earwax as much
The US solution will be to blast everything out with a shotgun. HellYEAH!
They are called earbuds
They do I bought some like 5 days ago there just called ear buds
I thought they were the same thing I’m British and use ear bud they look like q tips
As a person living in the UK, what the hell is the difference to others like my last nation had the exact same thing
I learned this from one of my teachers in high school. Young me got traumatized, assuming I'll lose my hearing if too much builds up. So basically, to overcome the itch-scratch cycle, become traumatized
I still get them…. Just to clean small corners of my bird’s bath, that is the only thing I use them for…
When you insert a q tip into your ear and it makes your hearing 4 times better and also feels like the best scratch on your ear youve ever had.
On point!!
Nonsense. Blocking your middle and inner ear canal does not improve your hearing in any way.

I’ve done it for 23 years and never had any problems. I will keep doing it.
My Doctor once told me that ear wax is water soluble, and the best way to clean it out is the let warm water run in it for a about 30 seconds (in the shower). I been doing that ever since.
Once a doctor said; "The best way to clean your ears is not to clean your ears"
True lol 😂
Disgusting
I don't and I'm deaf in my right ear😅
No there’s a thing where water blasts into your ear to get earwax out

Actually they will help, only if you use them correctly! In order to use them correctly, instead of just pushing it in. You wanna push it upward well it’s in so it can get behind the wax, then just pull it out. Hope this helps!
Someone already said it but you cant tell us not to do something and NOT give us a better option 😭

Ear cleaning sprays available in all pharmacies without prescription
Still, removing all ear wax is harmfull for us so I don't know why people do it.

My adoptive mother literally had a routine for us kids, ear swabs after a shower and it was INTENSE, she’d be pushing the Swabs deep until we could feel the wax move further in. She called it “monkey poop”. She started with the outside of the ears which were usually dirty, the insides obviously had wax, but to her it was filth and needed to be dug out EVERYTIME after a shower. (Til puberty hit)
