    I’m going to do it. The dealer charges me $100. And doesn’t include labor. 🤨😏 thank you for showing it. I don’t know about cars, but I’m not going to let them take my money just like that.

    Thank you for your video! I was able to get the glove box off and take off the cover and get the Cabin Air Filter out! It took me about an hour, but I did it! Like you said getting on our back and having to fit in there wasn’t easy. But it’s done!!!

    Had realized my partner's Nissan never had a filter swap at 60k and learned two things
    1.) Getting to this filter absolutely SUCKS. Forget trying to clean/vacuum it out.
    2.) Jesus Christ can these things get messy in 60k. Also, the tab on mine snapped when taking it out, so I had to grab some pliers to pull enough of the filter to get out.

      Hi! I’m having trouble. The tab on my came off too. How exactly did you use the pliers to get it out?

    • @Miatalustrium
      @Miatalustrium Před rokem

      @Rachel Dong I just used them to clamp down and started pulling. It should be pliable enough that it can come out with enough pulling

    ha, i'm gonna send this vid to my son at college and tell him he needs to squeeze the filter so it looks like a Jimmy Johnson 2:45, before he inserts it into the hole. i bet he has absolutely no problems with replacing this.

      I'm having the same issue with my dad's Sentra 2014. I don't see that. I'm going to try the driver side. I seen other videos that some Nissans have on the driver side. Just got to remove the plastic flap

      I was able to replace the filter without taking off the glove box. It's possible if you have small hands. I recommend taking off the glove box for easier access.

    It's a weird design, instead of making the hole big enough. Getting the old filter out requires some tugging, it doesnt slide out that easy. But it's worth the savings
