I just did this in 10 minutes without removing the Glove Box. Seat all the way back. Laid on my back and reached behind glove box. The rest is just like Dad shows. Thanks for the video.
Yes it can be done without removing the glove box if you are young and not too tall, however if you have a bad back I would suggest removing the glove box, :-).
The pieces of foam could from factory assembly of heating and AC duct assembly. As it's put together on some models they will use foam tape to seal the duct seams and dash vents. I would first pull the vent off on the dashboard and have a look from that end as it is easier than working from under dash. Good luck.
You don't need to remove the gloves compartment. In this video pause at 1:27 see how the cover looks like. Now you can just feel the cover and pop the cover out. Pull the filter out. Once you know where the opening is it's easy to install the filter. It will take 5 to 7 minutes. Good luck.
+Ilce Torres HelloI purchased those from web address below, I think they are pricey, but worth it.www.weathertech.comgood luck and thanks for watchingJoe
I mean the most important part of this video is taking out the old filter and putting in the new and it was the only time the camera wasn't on the place it should have been. CTFO
@@dadsgarage1954 This is incorrect, you should have looked at the directional arrow as you pulled the old filter out. In my 2015, the arrow was pointing toward the dash, not towards the inside of the car with the pull tab being on top.
Any auto parts store will be able to look it up for you,I like WIX Filters and the part # is B78911FC0Ayou can look it up at www.rockauto.com/Thank youDAD

Thanks man, I struggled for nearly a year trying to find that tab. I changed it with just taking the floor cover off. Life saver!

Thank you so much for this amazing app and the app but my dad thinks he can do it all by himself
Anyone happen to know the size and length of the bottom and top screws for the glovebox? Mine are missing and the glovebox is literally falling out.
Cool!!
in 2017 is the same setup? the arrow goes toward the cabin or goes toward the engine because somebody saids toward the engine
I just did mine on my 2013 and it had the arrow towards the cabin not the motor
Thank you
Which way is the air flow direction? Toward you or toward the firewall?
Air flow is towards inside of cabin, away from firewall.
Thanks!
What happens if I do not change the cabin filter ?
Jose Nieves i think the ac dont work as good

You are correct, towards the inside of car.

My 2013 was towards cabin pull tab on bottom
I wonder why the dealership charges $60 to change this when it takes like 2 min? Do they do something other than just replace the filter?
Golfkid3 yes, they have coffee and a donut right after
hi do i know the part number of the filter??

For those of us that wear glasses this is useless and since you move the camera away we can't see s h I t
This is why I hate Nissan. Difficult to change both filters than other manufacturers.
