- Playing around with Moog Labyrinth again. This time I'm using the "The Lowlands of Early Evening" patch sheet, with one important exception. The patch cord going from the U MIX 1+2 out jack to the VCW VCA CV in jack is left unplugged at the U MIX 1+2 end. Some pretty extreme modulation is introduced by touching the tip of the patch cord. Hefty delay makes for an even wackier sound.
I see where Moog has announced a July 11 release date for the Labyrinth. That means all the "official" demo sites will be posting any day now. Nice. I guess I've had my 15 minutes of fame.
Enjoy!
I think I appreciate there is oscillator on each of their instruments in this ecosystem. This makes them immediately playable without anything else. I like what this can sound like.it has nuances I like (clangy, buzzy, springy). There’s other things it sounds like I’m not as crazy about, but I think that’s true of all synths.
Thx for your sharing
I can see where this is going and it only brings more possibilities for people who do not want modular.
This teamed up with the other siblings would be a tour de-force for many.
Thx for the upload.
This is kind of like a DFAM on steroids!
Very interesting 🤔
Funny how you have been shit canning it all along though.
Just made it on the nord modular G1 sounds just the same . Pretty damn shite that’s what , but not drenched in reverb.
Its hard watching this, lol.
😉👍
only moog i own is the DFAM and looks like its gonna stay that way.
Great presentation and great musical sounds. I want to buy one now. "Sarcasm off"
not interested, great video tho
Oxymoron !?
@@MikkelGrumBovinnot interested in the labyrinth, do you need more information?
@@jorgbarr Take a wild guess ,-
@@MikkelGrumBovin god bless, synth on!
Quiet bleeps, ‘bug zapper’ with ocassional ‘ring mod’, then crackles and pops. Nothing here worthy of the Moog name, nor of its price tag. Robert must be spinning in his grave …
I guess waiting until mylarmelodies does a demo next week to see what it's really capable of, I think so far the Spectravox looks more interesting
@@Jin-Hu Depends on what music you want to make. The Labyrinth looks like it's a great fit for DFAM and Subharmonicon. I like some of the Gamelon-like sounds from the Labyrinth. The Spectravox sounds gorgeous when I stack VCOs on top of each other and feed that through as the carrier, and then apply my voice to it as the program input. It's just the kind of vocoder I've been waiting for.
It has quantized scales, so it's clearly capable of melody and harmony. We just haven't seen that yet.
People like you are a shame for the synth community, because you don‘ have the slightest bit of imagination beyond a bass and a lead from a minimoog. Bob would rotate in his grave, but because such dull people use his instrument. If he would hear that thing he would propably grin and ask, if this is a Buchla…..in a Moog housing.
Promoting new products isn't really your job….
He isn't *promoting* it, this video isn't an endorsement or promotion, if you don't like what he is doing, wtf are you even here?
Just sharing the love, brother.
Do I hear Stranger Things S05?
