@@saikopiratos Hahahaha
Very subtle difference.
I have to be honest, I did not expect this journey/method at all. I mean, this was truly helpful and beautiful. Thank you so much! I've never seen anyone do it like this and the results are fantastic! Beautiful! Gained a follow here!
Many complex tutorials out there but you taught me alot! Didnt even know the tab key shortcut until you taught me!
Oh my god, I didn't expect such a good tutorial video for a mere rock! I usually follow tutorials slightly and do things my own way because I already know some stuff on 3d modeling for other programs, so because I didn't like the tons of polygons I tried to do it with less subdivision and it looked awful. I then remembered the "decimate" modifier and tried to use it before the displace, which also looked bad. I later noticed exactly what you did and it looks much better. In the end I realised I should follow exactly what you do, and it's surely the best way to make cute low poly rocks.
I also LOVE the multiple decimate advice. It 100% works better.
Glad to help you man
@@rkpixeldesign can u give me the texure link plez
Great stuff! the vertex dissolving bit was very interesting, and you showed me properties I had not noticed in the voronoi texture (contrast, distance squared)
i really like the way that you explain everything that you are doing instead of just asking us to click this and tha, type this and that, it really help
Great tutorial, man! The method you used was really simple and clever. I appreciate you taking care to explain the reasoning and purpose for each step as you went along.
Please make more videos, how you explain "if you do this..." this is something I really need in tutorials, they only say what do to do and rarely explain WHY we need to do that. You are a great teacher! Hope you channel grows!
Bruh, that was fast.
Great job.
All my life I wasted a lot of time to sculpt rocks, Thanks to your tutorial my life has become a bit more easy
This technique seems to be useful. Thanks for sharing 😀
Thanks for this tutorial. It's clear and straight to the point.
Amazing tutorial!
Quick and easy to understand. Thank you for this!
you saved my life bruh, thank you for the tutorial.
Dude you're freaking awesome! Subbed.
LOL. I was shaking my head through most of this video, thinking "WTF is he doing?" I even checked to make sure I hadn't actually gone to a different video without realizing. But suddenly it started looking like a rock. Well played, Mr Kumar. Well played.
Wow, thats what you call a tutorial. Thank you!
Thanks for the compliment 😇
Great tutorial! This method is amazing for things like creative freedom and results. Especially if you make a ton and so a rigid body sim.
Fantastic tutorial, to the point and extremely helpful. Thanks a lot!
Perfect for what I'm working on--fairly realistic rocks for a webXR game. Well-presented, too. Thanks! Subbed.
Great tutorial mate keep it up! :)
Really simply put and well thought out explanation! You are a rarity among you tubers man, can't wait to see more.
Thanks for this tutorial!
GREAT TUTORIAL FOR ROCK MODELING!! THANK YOU!!
Fantastic tutorial, exactly what ive been looing for!
For a more optimised rock for games is good to also merge vertices by distance to get better edges and reduce faces.
A lot of small details are left out of the explanation, making it harder for a new user to learn every necessary step to create something as basic as a rock than I believe it should be.
It looks cool! So I'm showing some love and subscribing to your channel!
excellent tutorial !! I already saved it in my playlists !!

Thanks for feedback. I'll be making more of these
Dw! Thanks for decimate method, it's really helpful :)
edit:
and also dissolving the vertices makes model looked more realistic.
After all, do displacement map for cracked style rock and let's make Genshin Impact with me
this has been the best video on how to make rocks.. and I have been looking.. wow.. was missing the decimate modifier..
Amazing!
nice man it was super easy to understand! 😇
Wow, it's amazing! Thanks, you really helped me
Nice tutorial.
And happy to see your name.
Best lowpoly rock tutorial ever!

How do you create the white, cracked look at the edges of the rock?
This is a good, straightforward tutorial. Good

Great 😁
Nice one!
thanks a lot!!!!! very useful!
Nice man !
Explanation of all things is the best in this channel.
Thanks man 🙂
Helped alot, thx
you can use two decimate modifiers, the first use the planar/planer?? option and set the angle tolerance to about 12 degrees. Apply it, then add another decimate modifier and adjust the slider according to you liking...
great channel, thanks for the tut.
Very nice, thank you. Subbed and liked.
So amazing, THANKS, in the displacement modifier, if you set the coordinates to global, every time you move the mesh, the rock takes shape in the same procedural way, or if you prefer, you can change the type of coordinates to object, and every time you move this same object used as a coordinate in the displacement modifier, the rock randomly takes shape, that's before you apply the modifier, it worked with me.
Do more on these modifiers. They are awesome. Also nice vid. I used to use bisect and fill, but this is a little better.
Happy to help !
This is noice bro
be carefull with dissolving vertices because when a single plane exist out of more then 4 points it gets a lot harder to calculate if you want to use it in anything that uses realtime processing.
Great technique, quick and informative video, everything I could ask for in a tutorial. Thanks for making this!
Dude, you rocks! ;)
Thanks
Very Helpful.......Thank you
This is awesome.
Thanks
I have enjoyed the vide, hence I hit the like button. Thanks for sharing. :)
indian guy never disappoint me, great video!
very nice tutorial, thank you
Can you explain how u got the cavitys (the very crisp edges) on the rocks to show so well in the final render?
have the same problem ....mine looks clunky and idk how he gets those lightnings on the edges
Cool Thanks for nice tutorial
Thanks 👍
wow thanks so much you are so cool, you get to the point very fast, you explain step by step, and you tell us what hotkey you use. Good job!
Thanks, people like you inspire me to create these tutorials
great tutorial thanks
I loved the tutorial, but I'm curious about your final render. Did you make any changes to the color or was that the default gray Blender provides?
Thank you very much!
Subbed for sparing the default cube.
Thx for this Tutorial it is a clear and a good build! Greetz Black Lion
Thanks for such a good video even though rocks are a small thing, in environmental design they mean a lot.
True 😇
