Prudence as head of security and Merilwen as treasurer are the two positions that make the most sense

It's a family friendly show so I understand why this couldn't happen, but I see Prudence as more of "I'm Prudence the fucking terrifying Tiefling warlock who'll Eldritch blast your soul out of your nostril as soon as say hello"

Tbh, I feel a little sorry for the people who had to clean up that room Prudence asked to be filled with blood. I envision a scene (similar to The Shining) where someone opens the door to that room and a river of blood gushes down the corridors.

So dob has a dragon face and blue suit, prudence has a mask of herself and minion outfit. Merilwen has a prudence mask and deadpool outfit. Corazon is a pirate wearing a sexy nurse outfit. And eggbert a dob mask on his nose and eighty wolves! SOME ONE PLEASE DRAW THIS!!! :)

I assume that stuff is on the character sheet, but he hates high society, so not using his knowledge of it to his advantage is really in character.

Team stealth was successfully able to find and decode a cipher with valuable information, but failed to actually prove or convince anybody of that evidence.
That means that Egbert was the only one who really figured something out, and the mvp of a thinking based session!

I never thought I see the day.
So when I saw the title of this video I was expecting a few things.
A masquerade ball, intrigue, looking for clues inconspicuously, Canapes and so on.
What I could not predict even thou this is the Oxventure team is. A sexy Minions costume, Tokyo drift with a grand carriage, A pirate ransacking the lord of the manor study like he can't remember were his passport is and a Dragonborn Paladin with a six pack of lager.
"My name is Corazón, appointed leader because it's easier to pretend I lead while I hide".
I bet the first thing he'll say when a boss demands to know who the leader is, is "...Egbert" lol

When the cartoon series is made for this adventure, I propose that the after credit scene is of a freshly uncharmed bouncer inside a red room surrounded by jars of blood as it cuts to a far off view of the mansion followed by a uncharacteristically high pitched scream.

I'd love to watch an OxVenture that wasn't constrained by a time limit, so that Johnny could deliver the story unedited to meet a deadline...
He's trying to get the live shows extended by half an hour
Matt Ball Which is great news for the live shows, but I kind of mean more like I’d love to watch them playing normally... No playing to the crowds, no pressure to resolve the mission in a single session, no time hard time limits, just six mates telling a funny adventure but with more cliffhanger endings and enjoying the game rather than performing for an audience. But that’s just my opinion...
@@JimDeuce I get what you mean. I was at the panel they did at ComicCon (where Johnny said about bumping the time limit) and I'm pretty sure he said they were looking at doing a few more adventures like Quiet Riot or Spot of Bother that aren't live shows but instead play out over an afternoon or so, but I think the whole 'ongoing campaign' thing ala Critical Role or Dragon Friends is a bit difficult to pull off when you've also got to factor in the deluge of other content they all make. Don't get me wrong, I'd absolutely love a full, narrative-driven 40 hour OxVenture campaign, but I don't think that's really ever going to be on the cards given their workload.
Matt Ball i mostly agree with the points you make, but keep in mind that Critical Role before it was a stream was an ongoing campaign that was played maybe one session every 2-3 months... A busy schedule doesn’t necessarily mean changing the story to fit the schedule. Hell, I’d rather they played privately without any cameras once every six months if it meant they could enjoy a more intricate narrative for themselves. None of them had played before (barring Johnny) and almost immediately they’re playing sessions to an audience. When does it stop being D&D and start becoming a stage production?
@@JimDeuce I think as soon as you put it out as content, the intent of the game instantly changes. D&D is like quantum computing, as soon as you observe the state of it, you change it. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but there's a huge difference between the game you play with your mates and the game you think you'll be judged on. I used to do a D&D comedy podcast years ago and it was a totally different experience to my current campaign.

Technically, emerald are beryl, which comes in lots of colours, including blue. Usually only the green ones are called emeralds, but not always. So a blue emerald is entirely believable.

I liked seeing the group split up then reform all with new insight. That’s how to do a good role playing session without combat. And Corazon was super funny.

Rezzed was a brilliant experience, even better than last year. I even got to meet the presenters again. It was awesome to see them look so genuinely happy. Also, a special thanks to Jane for passing on a bottle of Jack to Johnny and for signing my birthday card. Real life Jane is lovely. If you ever get a chance to attend an oxbox meet n greet, do it. You won't regret it.
Mike's delivery of the line "IT'S BEHIND HIS FACE!" was the funniest part of the video.

Mike was incredible in this episode and I want to be as cool as Johnny when I grow up.
This was my first introduction to anything D&D related, and I really like this now.

J Merrilwynn, hasn't really achieved her goal of becoming the most powerful Druid and saving nature, but she is getting increasingly powerful, at the start she was alright, but now she can shape change, an example is the Merrilwynn meat grinder

Letting Corazon and Dob wander off alone was the worst and best idea this guild's ever had. I've watched 1:21:10 about 50 times now.
I didn't know how bad I needed high society Prudence and Merilwen and now that I've seen it, I want longer adventures with this theme :P. Magnificent ladies! Who knew the least helpful would be Dob and Corazon!
Egbert cracked the case, Prudence and Merilwen occupied the guards and Giles while Corazon and Dob harassed a young woman with shenanigans
Its a shame it wasnt a longer campaign i feel like the two would have found a sly way of solving the case, alas it was in the interest of time and Egbert did get to have a shining moment there haha
