I like how they had the great idea of the Battle Royale and then the great idea of fighting with them in teams and then the great idea of ditching the Battle Royale. So basically, they avoided the big fight and through insane detours, they ended up in a big fight anyway. I cannot believe it.

I think this is the first time they made things much worse. They went in, killed some orphans, set a ring of fire in the town, then took the hammer meant for fixing the town.
They also made an entire forests worth of animals blind due to aerized toxic runoff
in the wild wild woods adventure they killed a lot of animals

Probably the moment they had them form a band. He had a little bit of a terrified look as he was imagining to keep track of 10-20 smaller groups of skeletons doing just the most useless stuff.
The sheer chaotic energy of the party would make literal paradise an impossible place to get some R&R

@@maxvel0city906 oh 100%, the atmosphere is great and gets you really hyped up! Plus it's cool how they encourage the occasional bit of interaction and yelling out things, makes you feel more involved (I may or may not be the "Love you Corazon!" at the start...). I'd definitely recommend it if you get the chance to go, though if you do it's absolutely worth queuing early to get a good view!

As a former internal auditor I can tell you that the issue of whether Health & Safety sit within HR's purview is oft-contested...and mostly by HR!

@@tach-uq5tw In my experience it's about who is responsible for managing risk within H&S. If H&S is considered to be part of HR as an organisational unit, the head of HR would have ultimate responsibility for managing H&S risk whereas if it's a separate organisational unit, someone else owns that risk (a head of H&S). H&S risk tends to be 'greater' as it may result in a very significant impact if not managed, so (perhaps understandably) HR heads aren't keen to consider it part of their remit!

I get the feeling that this is largely a response to the fact that the Ox crew has uncanny luck when it comes to defeating singular bosses, and so Johnny decided to try just a butt load of skellybobs.
Yeah, I've been running D&D for a while now and trying to figure out what kind of enemies are actually going to give your players a hard time is actually REALLY difficult. Sometimes- like the Ox guys, they are really good at coming up with impromptu traps and defences like the infamous meat grinder that makes facing multiple foes irrelevant, but then also very good at taking down a single much stronger foe. Also, somehow, the Ox crew seem to be really good at just pulling solutions out of no where somewhere by somehow combining what they think will be funny into real strategies.
I recommend having him come across a group of melee enemies that prioritise dodging and staying alive, while someone like a ranger or sniper specced warlock does the damage from somewhere no one can reach. force them to do something creative. of course, they'll probably just throw a cat/bear/elf at the problem and it'll all be fine
I'm just waiting until Johnny throws the tarrasque at them, then Corazon just casts grease on it, it rolls a one on it's saving throw and somehow manages to bisect itself with its own claws.
It doesn't help that Johnny lets them get away with practically anything. For example, Dob's move with the heated hammer swing should have been 3 whole actions. One to tie the rope, one to cast Heat Metal, and one to make the attack, and then he didn't even make Dob roll for the attack. This should have taken three turns to do XD

If I counted right, excluding the chairs because we never heard how many there were:
Dob: 58 kills, includes 15 orphans.
Prudence: 46.
Egbert: 19.
Merrilwen: 11.
Corazon: 6.
I excluded the bosses from Wild, Wild Woods, An Orcward Adventure, and A Fishmas Carol, those were shared team kills.
Both of their kill counts soared in this adventure. Prudence was on a lousy six and Dob was on an impressive 23.
She liberated a temple for him, murdered an innocent guard, murdered a goblin before he could offer up any information, destroyed a skeleton Voltron, and helped, made no attempt to warn Egbert that his actions could seriously pollute a forest river even more than the kobolds did. I think she's doing fine.
I think Prudence was proud of Dob for murdering all those orphans, mayhap he could be turned to a follower of Cthulhu, along with Egbert. I'd say it's more about the long game with Cthulhu than the number of kills. She converted the fish people, reclaimed a temple, and now acquired a potentially powerful magic item, along with the lesser book of elder ones that she acquired in Plunder Siege. She's becoming more powerful, that's more important than the number of kills. If she can convert a cupla her party members, Cthulhu would be very pleased.
No mention how the Pirate has the least kills?
Well this was horrifying. No more letting Johnny read Junji ito before a show.

This episode has some of my *favorite* moments in the series. From Dob’s badass flaming swinging hammer straight out of a hack-and-slash to supposed weakling Corazon knocking down Skeletron in a single move to Prudence’s epic finishing blow, the creativity of this crew makes for some of the best combat scenarios I’ve ever seen. Congratulations to everyone, and I can’t wait for the next episode!

I was disappointed last adventure. No one died last time. I want Prudence to do something gruesome.
I think this could be the best one you guys have ever done, thank you for all the adventures recently and after all this you guys deserve a well earned rest, thank you again for all the good times, explosions, dungeon raiding, boss fights and generally larking about in all these recent D&D Adventures of the Oxventure.
What your team needs is a good (good at bad :P) necromancer to rise all the dead victims of your Dob plans as a personal army. Can one of you get a second class? Or maybe find a super creepy old necronomicon ... wait diden't Prudence already found one in that castle raid?? That Orphan zombie army would be realy useful ... still Prudence got a new cool super sledgehammer that can kill undead with one hit and i think that may come in handy one day :)
BTW Johny, you realy need to do a "Revenge of Orphan Zombies!" for halloween D&D :P

I love how everyone seems to have settled on their costumes. While Andy/Corazón are constantly switching between many pirate fashions. Very on brand for them both.
And here we see Johnny's descent into madness. On the left, you'll witness him muttering "grease......fire.....why is it always Eldritch blast....the orphans" in his sleep.
I just realized a little internal shriek of the DM when Dob said "You wanna keep the ophans IN the orphanage"
