- I have had this little greenhouse for a year now and felt like a video was needed to show what it looked like with some plants in it and to give my opinion on how it's held up. I hope this video is helpful to those who are considering purchasing. Thanks for watching! - Clint

Thanks for the review. Very informative.
I LOVE THE GREENHOUSE!!! ❤️
Thanks! 😊
Hi! I just came across your channel as I am researching lean-to greenhouses. We also live in NC and have a fairly small backyard, so I think this would be a great option for our family too. Thank you for sharing your experience and tips!
One of the best video which I ever seen ❤
Thanks for the video man!
Looks good!
Thanks for the update. I believe your foot issue is caused by the bow in the vertical corner brace. The difference between the vinyl siding and the brick face causes the brace to bow and probably caused the door frame to be out of square. Moreover, that corner brace may be off, side to side, at the bottom causing the door to be open st the bottom. I would think that releasing the frame from the brick face, it could be adjusted to close that gap. Maybe? Looks like a great greenhouse!!
Thanks for the tip and I do believe you are correct! I appreciate it 🙏🏼
I would use plumbers' pipe insulation, snipping chunks to stick into those gaps against the house. Done in ten minutes.
honestly i was gonna build my own with wood but after this video I'm going to buy and build this lean to green house. I have an outdoor porch that's about 7' x 5' so ill get the 8ft x4ft version and cut down one of the clear panels to fit. Ill also build a back piece to fill in the gap in the back.
Sounds awesome! Let me know how it turns out 💪🏽
@@ExploreYourLand definitely will!
Like I said in your build video... about the door. You have pulled the bottom of the door to the house and you need to put a board same thickness as your siding sticks out so your door will be straight. :) Hope that helps. Might also be why you had issues with that plastic part across from the door. It is out of square. You can get these wavy foam pieces for the roofing that you might can cut to put in those gaps if you wish to seal it. They stick on one side I do believe (flat side).
Thanks for the feedback. I believe you are correct, makes sense to me. I appreciate you commenting 🙏🏼
Buddy I would have put a flat service behind that between the greenhouse and the siding to have a flat service. Myself probably 1/4 inch cement backer board rather than wood but that is because I'd want to avoid termite food, rot and or fire fuel.
Cheers you actually helped me to build my own than to get one of these assembly ones.
Thanks for this video! Do you have an extra piece of that siding laying around? If so, to seal the gaps, maybe you could take a 2x4, cut it to the height of your green house and place the piece of siding at a 90 degree angle to the 2x4 to trace out the grooves. Do this down the full length do the 2x4 then cut out the grooves with a jig saw. Hope that makes sense.
That does make sense and is s great idea! Not sure if I have any siding leftover but I will look around. Thanks 🙏🏼
@@ExploreYourLand You could probably use a contour gauge if you can find an extra piece of siding. You can get one for pretty cheap if you don’t already have one.
Try putting a simple turn button near the bottom to keep the door closed.
silicone would be good to seal that.
Or just 3M HVAC air duct tape too
on your door try a few rare earth magnets (the really strong ones) to keep the door closed. I have a shower door that likes to not shut....So I put a magnet and a magnetic bolt on it to keep the shower door closed.
That’s a great idea, thank you!
Your bluebells look like Tradescantia.
This tells me to get the 8x6. Thank you
Sure thing, glad this was helpful!
I think the reason your door is crooked is from you attaching the bottom frame to your brick wall, its bending your frame and not straight up alone the siding, making the door hang crooked ... I'd put a 1/2 inch wide board behind the frame along the bricks, as the siding is out 1/2 inch also I think, which would then make your frame not be bent going up and down, then the door should close straight.
Good point, hadn’t thought of that! I will take a look and see if I can adjust. Thanks 👍🏼
@@ExploreYourLand yw ... I know the frame has to be straight up and down, so I'm sure thats the problem with the door. I just ordered the same lean to greenhouse online .. thx for your vid
I was going to say the same thing about the door issue!
Hi, great review! Just curious if you can have the entry door on the other side?
Nope. One side only unfortunately
Wow thanks for this. So no damage to vinyl siding from excessive heat?
Nope, siding still looks good 👍🏼
You are fine to let the air in
Curious what state you're in? Do you get harsh winters? Strong winds?? I'm in north texas and unsure it Can withstand 🤷♀️
North Carolina. It is positioned where a small hill and tree block a lot of direct wind. So far, no troubles. Winters are pretty mild… usually only 1-2 snowfalls per year.
Would it stand up to high winds? Or does it feel brittle enough to collapse from it?
I feel confident about it in high winds. Mine doesn’t get much direct wind because of a hill and tree on the opposite side but with all screws in place it should hold. Doesn’t feel brittle or fragile to me.
@@ExploreYourLand Great, thanks for the insight. Mine would be tucked into a back corner of my house so wind would only have an effect from two sides. 👍
Can the door opening be put on the other side ?
Unfortunately not
Bummer 😩
Grow some lemongrass
