I seriously doubt the majority of people in the world are even aware of the seriousness of the situation. In my own bubble, friends & family that is, literally no-one seems to really comprehend. Shocking really, because the consequences of war breaking out over Taiwan are HUGE and will be felt worldwide.
Let me say that I sincerely hope it won't get that far. I mean, China would have so much more to gain by having a good cultural and economical relationship with Taiwan. But who am I, citizen of the tiny country of The Netherlands with a population of roughly 18 million people... 😬
well your tiny country has a complete monopoly on advanced chip making machines, so as part of a democratic nation you indeed can affect the world. :)
but honestly ASML decision to not sell to china has only made the situation more tense.
@@madbavy8806 Yes, I'm well aware of ASML 😅 It wasn't exactly a choice not to sell the most advanced machines to China. They were told to by the Dutch & US government. For reasons of course. Whether those reasons are legit is a whole different story.
While all of these high-profile trials are going on, meanwhile back at the ranch our public officials are committing crimes and there are no trials.
No country should put up with this standard ground Taiwan! These lands are out of control.
