I think your last thought - that you should look outside the pinball community for a sale, is quite cogent. There are people who really appreciate, and value, the level of your craftsmanship and artistic vision. You need to contact some art galleries. They are always looking for new and exciting pieces.
This isn't hate for CPR this is a plea for CPR to get their shit together. Please!!!! CPR force feeding us crap because they might be the only game in down for specific games is just wrong and I promise you this, they will go out of business as other players are popping up. This community is so small that bad press is always free and spreads far and fast. So I hope they see this video and take it to heart. Time will tell.
I bought Scared Stiff for 8000, was 100% okay according to seller. It plays but: left ramp light broken, translite wacked, weird wiring / some leds don't turn off properly, both ramps broken near screw holes etc. Watching your machines made me look with a different pair of eyes.
Your rant videos are the best 🤣Just like the TZ mod video. Love to hear about seeing through all the bullshit garbage in this hobby, and always keeping it real! 🍻
I like them both, but original is original. We've seen that before. Custom done right is always going to generate more interest. Doesn't mean the original isn't excellent. A fully restored "original" minus the displays matching the band members colors sold locally for over 5 digits just a month ago. If you were at TPF you likely saw it, but probably didn't get to play it since it wasn't set for free play. 🤣
I am so tired of parts and playfields getting worse not better. They have finally gotten bad enough that I almost would rather not have the option at all sometimes.
Yeah, I would knock it out of the park BUT, the work and design involved would take another 10 years like my stencils art and would need a TEAM! Full PRINT equipment. CNC's... Any Investors LMK! After 20 years of doing this, I'm like Chris and doing more CUSTOM 1 Off machines for celebrities, etc.... getting outside the pinball world where there is MORE $$$$$ when you PIMP these classics!
The worst part about playfields and backglasses even plastic sets and cabinet art to a degree is that the license holder generally speaking picks the absolute worst people to make the parts. The problem isn’t just the “draft picks” is the picker.

These videos are the best. I enjoy the painting and the sanding videos, but the rant videos are gold!
Thanks. I am glad to have an outlet for my thoughts.
Good talk 👍

Welcome to the wonderful world of pinball sellers.
I took a couple beatings myself before I figured it out myself.

Thanks those come the most natural to me 🍻

CPR is the worst. I've had so many garbage products from them.
They may as well have smeared shit on a tempered glass on this one. It’s an absolute lack of pride situation.
Tell us what you *really* think! I hope you feel better, I enjoyed the rant!
@@stashyboy1 Glad to hear it. Just random thoughts sometimes.
@@highendpins😮😂👍
Buthamburg are smick Chris. But not very many titles yet. But more coming. Top notch in my opinion…..
Tell us how you really feel. Bwahahaha. :D

Too bad someone like the Pinball Pimp couldn't get into making backglasses and playfields. That would bring the quality.
