THE HITS will become stiffer and Stiffer. Maybe even relegation to the lowest league. Maybe a ban from european competitions for 3 years. Be careful what we wish for.
Moving house is a nightmare, get yourself a nice bottle of whiskey and get unpacked lad. Batman nightmare but to be fair on his current form we won't miss him.Lets get him back to 100%😮
Good to see you back! My view is it's not worth the risk on breaking the rules. We'd end up with a bigger than expected points deduction, just so they could make an example of us. We don't need to break the rules ... things take time when done properly. We are building for the future. Fans seem to forget that not that long ago at this point in the season we were often on a relegation battle under the FCB with little or no hope in the transfer market.
Eddie researches very thoroughly, his posts are well considered and as far as the ground is concerned i think hes right. Gateshead stadium is ripe to temp expand while construction is going on
@@tomfullard9862 a think they will ask to you Kingston park stadium and put temp stands up be much easier then putting temp stands up then at Gateshead flat ground all way round Kingston park
I like the way he comes at it from a reasoned point of view. I am one who would prefer Newcastle to build an Etihad- type of complex as that gives us greater potential to grow in the many areas we need to. But his new video highlights the unlikelyhood that that will happen. I think Al's that the new owners will expand on St James's but not to the extent of 75k but will optimise capacity, as he mentioned, aiming for greater monetisation of the seating at around 65k.
@@stewartfraser2740 I honestly think they will get go ahead to build in to leazes park turn the stadium 45 degrees west build half like what spurs done and knock st James park down build other half . It makes no sense whatsoever having that woman on the fans board thing who’s got something to do with leazes park unless something is going to be happening with the club and leazes park
@@user-hs9tb8wf2l Again, using good logic. That sounds both plausible and acceptable, but I don't think they would be allowed to hive off much of Leazes Park. As a plan though, it would be acceptable to a lot of the current supporters I think, and that is what may be necessary.
It's absurd the number of managers Newcastle has blown through the last 20 years. No more turnover, please. City and Chelsea with their big spending, it still took them a number of years to establish themselves as fearful opponents.
We have to face facts. We are not going to either hold onto or attract the top tier players because of the shackles imposed on us by financial fair play or whatever ruling wants to be called. Probably the 'Dont let Newcastle dominate' ruling. Bogging us down makes our top players easy pickings for those at the top of the tree already and future elite players wont touch us with a barge-pole until we can put ourselves within the top four year in year out. The fact that other teams have a massive advantage in that department now and for the next, lets face it, 20 years or so, is going to pin us to mid table to 5th place for the foreseeable future as these other clubs stretch further away from us year in year out. It's going to take something like the independent regulator to have any chance of change in our favor. Even then, a government ran/obligated regulator would have to be pressured by the Saudi's with regards to financial fair play and free trading laws. For now we are cut adrift and being held at bay by other clubs scared of the spending power we would have. Which is understandable.
It may not be the best idea for the Australia trip, but for a Geordie that moved to Australia 20 years ago when I was 6 I’ve always dreamed of seeing Newcastle in a good position and coming to Australia!
I'd take a 4-10 point deduction if it meant making up for it with more wins and less draws (obviously losses but we have/had a knack for crappy draws even last season)
As someone who is very active in the Crypto & NFT market, I don’t think you realise the amount of money involved with this. How popular it is and how high the ceiling could be with this.
Tough season? We went into this, buzzing and full of optimism. Injuries, Tonali ban, losing to four of the bottom six, swindled in Paris and all those ridiculous away ties we could've done without.
I’ve been giving this some thought and have settled on only one plan we can follow if ffp is gonna force the sale of players like Isaac and Bruno- ie impossible to progress. 1. This season is done so let’s play all the you youngsters as much as possible to get them some decent game time and some confidence. Most likely a few will turn out to be excellent like Miley. 2. Spend a billion in the summer. Seriously. Spend it knowing that sooner or later we will take a massive penalty and may need to work our way back up a few leagues to get back into the PL. then from then on we have the billion dollar team to move on with. Just like Man City. At current rate it’s gonna take a good 5 years at least until we are competitive so may as well do it the crazy way.
I do not know what NFTs are and do not care enough to find out. I think of it as yet another financial scam among the many. Club going down this route just shows how big a hold money has on football and it does not seem it will get better. As for the stadium, the owners have to find the balance between capacity, and location. Moving away from SJP and building a training stadium complex seems a good option in terms of land. Maybe the Saudi's can be persuaded to build the transport infrastructure to go with the new stadium as well. Sure as hell be a better chance than asking the government to care enough to spend money.
Just watched Botman interview on sky. Original injury, apparently some people said major rupture. Someone else said not. So confirms atleast one of our so-called medical experts was wrong. And here we are. 9 fucking months...
Now what happens if rumours are correct and there is a strong possibility of man city, being stripped of cups won and may be even relegated from the premier league if found guilty as they say, where do Newcastle stand, as with the fa cup or teams with relegation as the hearing is supposed to be after the season ends.
I had the same reaction as you to the NFT deal, I understand that the club needs to get money in, and I wont be complaining if it funds a new signing in the summer, just leaves a bit of a bad taste in the mouth. It's not a million miles away from our Wonga sponsorship way back and how sickening that was.
Its nothing compared to wonga get a grip man people are losing it over a deal which brings in money, its not a payday loan company or a gambling company!
Never heard of nfts but I suppose why not. Is it as popular as Soccer Star cards in 70’s? Every kid in the playground bought them. Must have been worth a fortune as a business. I was addicted and spent all my pocket money on them. Cocaine for kids. 🤣
Losing Tonali set the tone for losing players for the season, forest, Everton and Chelsea are just the tip of the iceberg for FFP a lot more teams are gonna fall foul or hit their limit, we need to be patient let the sponsor money come in and our young players we have invested in like minteh who's looking good for next season and we will get it right, let's not forget we massively overachieved last season if we were in the same position last season as we are now everyone would be saying it's slowly coming together it only feels like we're going backwards a bit because of the champs league, all of a sudden the fans think we are a top 4 established team, Eddie is the right man but any manager would struggle with the injuries we have had but look at the players he's improved since coming players no one would buy when he first come, now players like joelinton lacelles and willock they would snap our hands off.
Eddie Howe No1 priority convincing Bruno and Isak to stay! Then sort big Jo contract extension. Then whomever we buy in summer window must better the first 11

Newcastle fans after NFT sponsors= No not that way its immoral 😂
