The Canyon is actually 'fancier' than it used to be! It didn't have showers in the old days ;)
Glad to see you knew about Canyon De Guadalupe! That was actually the first place I thought of when you started your Baja trip. True about it being an offroader spot. The road in there isn't easy.
Your story about Wonderhusky was the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

It's fun to share an adventure, but traveling as a group can have its drawbacks as well. There are things to be said in favor of traveling alone: 1) Everyone who committed to the trip shows up on time, ready to go. No backing out at the last minute. 2) Nobody wants to leave home or go back home before you do. 3) Nobody wants to go anywhere else but where you want to go. 4) Everybody orders or brings along the same food, the same beverages, sleeps in the same accommodations, and there's no snoring. 5) Everybody makes a pit stop whenever they need to. 6) Nobody grumbles about stopping to take pictures or see something interesting. 7) Everyone agrees on the campsite. 8) Everybody gets the same gas mileage as you do, so everybody needs to stop for gas at the same time. 9) If the trip was fun, everyone had just as good a time as you did.
My hubs and I have done the same going to Sturgis on the Harley's. We do a solo trip of the two of us BECAUSE of your list of ''' why solo is best''.

I KNEW you would find Canyon de Guadalupe!! We used to camp there in the 1960's...'orange sunshine' times. It was much more rustic back then.

I love it! What ingenuity! Mud baths. But only for your feet. And they are portable!. You can have them most anywhere!. Muddy baths, for your feet. It's great when it gets into your shoe and your sock. It's an experience to behold. Mud in your shoes. While smoke, gets in your eyes.
You should go by Stevie. Then you could be Stevie Wanderhussy. And a chip off the old Nick's. No?
I liked Mexico when I was much younger. I don't think I want to go there anymore. Boys behaving badly just keeps getting worse. I climbed to the top of the Mayan pyramids. I don't need to do that again. At this age my knees wouldn't take it anyhow. So glad I had the opportunity when I was 12. An experience never to be forgotten. It's so awe-inspiring. Even to a kid of 12. And I instantly then new. There had been another human race before we came along. At 12. It's plain to see. And especially so on January 6, 2021. When we got to all experience the best that American Homo sapiens have to offer. Destructive monkey behavior. Yuppie Yahoo,, we got in! And they instantly set up a fine government of chaos for a couple of hours there. They all knew what they were doing on purpose. No excuses!
We are just going to have to have those folks forced into building new jails to accommodate themselves. We are each and every one of them can be in charge of their own cell. Of their 6' x 8' proportions. And their luxury stainless steel toilet sink. Where everybody gets one. To share with their new partner and lover. Assigned to them.
I don't think a skinny good looking middle-aged broad like yourself should be going south of the border by herself. It's not safe. It might say California but I say Baja ha ha.. Wanna' bet? It's Mexico! What's with this California nonsense? It's Baja California Mexico. The city is called Baja California in Mexico. That's false advertising! It's Mexico. You need a passport. And that all transsexuals have to out themselves. So don't be showing us your good-looking skinny body in a bikini bathing suit you hussy you!

@@rickobrien4025 She was with a couple of men, though that probably wouldn't have helped much. I've also gotten the impression from her videos that Wonderhussy seems fearless, which can be a dangerous thing.

I still know where our stash is hidden. It quite a generous stash too. The big pool is usually only filled for those special occasions. Takes a day or 2 to fill up. Incredible place to party down with a couple hundred people
And next time make sure you walk to the natural spring. It’s cold and flowing but amazing on a hot day. It’s about a quarter of a mile away

The big pool is only filled if you ask for it. I've never seen a lot of trash, that's sad. And it IS a funny place, but when we go in March the staff are usually there!

I was there two weeks ago...mid-April. I saw that same cat! Lol It did not look good. Whatever she was looking at on top of it's head is much larger. The night i was there it was tremendously windy but other than the cat and the wind that night the place is beautiful!

I have been there many times, but not since 2001. Now with the border and the cartels I would be reluctant to go. When we were going there the area was owned by a family with each member controling parts of it. Always was a fun time there.

We used to go to Baja every winter .... 30 years ago. It’s great to see that not much has changed. In Baja you constantly come across things that make you wonder .... “what happened here?” That said, I was hoping you would film some stops between Mulege and Ensenada/Mexicali (e.g.: San Ignacio, Catavina, Bay of LA , etc.) Maybe next time you should travel with people driving old VW vans .... they tend to have less testosterone!

Guadalupe Canyon Hot Springs. Playful dog aka Wonderhusky, grabs her dead cat microphone cover wrecking it. A super friendly tom cat invades her rig's sleeping quarters, the cold mud bath is crappy. Maintenance is sorely lacking and it's got
a lot of trash about. Let's say it has potential, LOL.

I am a good cook, do laundry, wash dishes and windows. Keep the house clean and get the groceries. I also know how to fix cars and stuff around the house. No repair bills. I do yard maintenance and trim trees. I love to garden and can food. I am loyal and don’t require too much maintenance. Have all my shots. Free to a good home.
