Thank you for your release. Keep it up. We are looking at buying a house in this town. The prices there are lower than in the Los Angeles area. We can't figure out why the price is lower and we are very interested. Tomorrow we are going to go for a walk around this town. We live in Orange County.đ
Hi there, and thanks for the kind words! I'm always thrilled to hear people excited about our town.
You're right, compared to Los Angeles, housing prices here are significantly lower, and it's a common question I get from potential buyers.
There are a few key factors at play:
âą Supply and demand
âą Land availability
âą Cost of living
Remember, buying a house is a big decision, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
Feel free to reach out anytime, even after your walk, if you have any questions or simply want to discuss your options further.
I'm confident we can find you the perfect home in our lovely town!

@@Skate-Agent Thank you very muchâ€ïž
This town will eat your soal donât even come here people are rude and racist and backstabbing
Quick question did you ever buy a house here in Bakersfield?
@@chrisplusvero1980 We moved to South Carolina and don't want to go back to California
The extreme heat in Bakersfield is difficult to deal with at times, but it's not as bad as the extreme cold in Midwest cities. I'm prone to cold weather injuries such as frostbite, chillblain, and hypothermia. Frostbite is very painful, but not a big concern in Bakersfield, with even in the rare coldest winter days with daytime temperatures in the 30s.
As Iâm older the heat seems to be getting harder for me to deal with but I definitely couldnât handle cold weather in the 30âs. I appreciate your feedback!
Lived in the southside for a a bit was fun i went to one of the better schools on the westside in seven oaks when i was a kid. Live in georgia now its alot better but bakersfield were i lived was fun wasnt to terrible
I appreciate the comments! I raised my kids here and they turned out great! I hope Georgia is treating you well!

Heâs my business partner
â@@Skate-Agent Las Vegas and Henderson is way better so viva Las Vegas.đ°đČâïžđ Go Vegas Golden knights hockey and Go Henderson silver knights hockey.
@@davidricards5262 good luck in Vegas! I can only handle that place every few years. I like being a few hours from the ocean to surf and a few hours from the mountains to snowboard.
Whatâs his name?
I found a house for sale in Bakersfield for less than 18K. I cannot help but wonder what is wrong with it. If I am desperate to get out of homelessness should I go for it?? 3219 Gulf Street #42
Did you ever buy that home btw
Isn't that a mobile home where you don't own the land?
so i live in bakersfield for about 30+ years i can tell you that personally in several area's like oildale, weedpatch and several other places have a higher crime rate due to drug, violence, and worse case abuse cases. as for job openness its a hit n miss. a majority of not getting a job will consist of the following. Since the 2024 Gavin Newsome idiotic choice of increasing min wage to 20 per hour in fast food we have seen a huge drop in unemployment, as of 4/6/2024 99cent stores in Bakersfield which is a retail job will e closing down 8 locations in Bakersfield and the end date of the official closing is still depending. As for other jobs like sales and education in Bakersfield since the FAFSA college bill passed there is a delay at the moment for college students. though i herd CSUB is a good place to look for a decent job if you have a decent background work history for education. as for other places outside a majority of jobs in Bakersfield during from 4/01/2024 - 8/01/2024 you wil have to wait as this seasonal jobs are already taken. the best time to search for jobs would be the seasonal quarters.
What area should be avoided or which area has a high crime rate?
Whatâs your email? I can send you the crime rate for Bakersfield
East bakersfield is ussaly the worst as well as oildale
West and north bakersfield are the safer sides and south bakersfield is inbetween
I lived on the SW for 30 years and moved to Bakersfield Country Club about 5 years ago and love it!
For the recordi forgot to say this crime mainly happens at night on east side during day its kinda close to the southside
Itâs dangerous there. Good luck lol
Iâve been here almost 30 years and Long Beach was much more dangerous than here, Iâve never had an issue. Iâm smart with where I go just like any other town. Itâs a bummer that each city had areas that might be dangerous.
Bakersfield is hopeless
Why do you say this? Where do you live?
@@Skate-Agent used to live near on university and Mt Vernon from 2012-2023. Itâs a mess there. Your video only glamorizes certain parts to fit the narrative youâre trying to portray. Do your viewers a favor and show them the actual footage and not select drone footage you put together. I moved out of Bakersfield and would NEVER go back. The air quality is terrible, crime is rampant and itâs infested with drugs.
@@J0eyDosSant0s my goal is to show all communities but Iâve shown the communities Iâve lived in up to now because I know them very well. The southwest and the Northeast.
@@Skate-Agent then be specific in your videos about the areas youâre talking about. Ignorant viewers who donât know otherwise would have them believing all of Bakersfield is as glamorous as you try and make it seem. Keep the same energy and do one on the poor and broken areas of Bakersfield.
Hes lying no one connects in Bakersfield
Seriously?! What part of town are you in? Theres endless connection!!!
terrible video, he is using stock clips not showing the real city.
@@creacendo thanks Chris! This is was one of my first talking head videos that my editor wanted me to do with a script, I donât either anymore because it wasnât me. I do the research and put it into my own words and try to do b-roll when I can so it reflects the actual things I talk about when I can but not always possible but try my best. Weâve been here 30 years and what I talk about reflects my families life style so accurate to my family this is why I share this info.
Let me tell you Bakersfield is NOT an amazing city. Here are the facts. Worst air quality in the nation, it's ugly. It has no culture. Its downtown sucks. Boring! It has awful hot brutal summers - I mean all day and night. Not a place for enjoying outdoors since nowhere decent to go hiking or biking. The crime is bad, ranking #1 in auto theft. Highest murder rate in California. If you like a clean car, forget it because it will have a constant layer of dust. I have traveled around the U.S. and seen amazing places and Bakersfield is not one of them. The only people that move here are from other parts of California and the ONLY reason is to lower their housing costs.
