In Simulation Room, you can maximize your buffs if you take note of:
-Your team comp (role, manufacturer, and gun, for buffs that are specific);
-Shape of the buff you're about to get; and
-Rarity of the buff, EPIC being the highest
Making all active buffs the same shape will give you an enormous CP boost as well as getting SR/SSR/Epic ones.
This is definitely a great video for new players. I made the mistake of not looking at "What not to do in Nikke in 2023" videos and had to figure some stuff out on my own. I started in the middle of the Red Hood event. After a certain point YT vids like this one, Reddit threads, and other sites helped me understand the game better. Great job on covering what new players struggle with!

My biggest mistake are that I went all in on battledata crates instead of cores before level 200, now I'm struggling on cores and I earn way more battledata that I can spend
and I was skipping simulation room because I was lazy and underestimated its importance

One quick note on the reset level option. You can only use the reset option as long as the Nikke is less than level 200. Once they are leveled to 200, you can not reset them and the materials used are lost. The message that appears when leveling to 200 will mention it. This is why you do not want to level a 6th Nikke to 200 as basically you will be losing enough materials to level up the synchro device 3 times. I saw nothing mentioning this before and I leveled a 6th one to confirm. Don't do this...

I'd also add to never spend gems on the regular store anywhere, even if it's ssr mold shards don't do it only buy the ones with body labels, and do not buy gear from the store neither.
Something to add. For the special events (in this case New Year Sword), it is advised that you do not buy the additional play stage currency until you finish all of Hard Mode (or Normal if that is all you can do) then using the extra play stage currency to play repeatable stages.
Essentially, don't use the extra play stage currency in the shop that you buy with gems to progress the story of the event.
I started Nikke 2 days ago. I wasn't sure if I'd continue the game since i heard the op units are very hard to get. Got modernia and scarlet red in 30 pulls and I'm like...yep i should continue 😂
Yeah but if the full 2x rewards in the simulation then i woulf simply do all A, B, and C from the last level 5 I'll basically usually do them all the time when they're are even not a 2x rewards...

Personally I been playing the game for 2 months I hit the 160 wall a few weeks ago and I currently have 4 mlb units Liter, Folkwang, Tia, and Privaty if I can get one last copy of SBS then I will break the 160 wall seems likely since I have 170 golden mileage and then maybe I can finish chapter 20

what does it mean to max core a nikke?
@@slinksiamang747 max core means core+7 after mlb. you need 1 nikke as a base, then 3 more to mlb, then 7 more to core+7
